Refinishing the black plastic trim on my old hatchback with this SEM spray was actually kind of fun. I grabbed it because my dealer wanted way too much to “refresh” the trim, and im on a renter budget already juggling rent and groceries. The color match on the faded mirror caps was really good and the satin finish looks like factory, not cheap glossy paint. The annoying part is the spray pattern. It comes out wider than I expected, so I had to redo one door handle after getting overspray on the paint. Tape off more than you think and do lighter passes. Once it cures, it holds up fine to car washes and parking lot sun.

Looking at the faded pool pipes behind my gym annoyed me every time I walked past them. I grabbed this to reblacken the exposed PVC that bakes in the SoCal sun all day. I brushed it on one section near the pump first and liked how fast it dried and how clean it looked, so I kept going. Seems to be a perfect match for the black trim on Jeeps. I gave it four stars due to the price but I guess you get what you pay for. It's a good product. Dries fast goes on smooth. No drips as long as you watch what you're doing. Definitely would buy it again
