This was a fantastic way of getting japchae when the local gourmet dining options are a pizza parlor, a bar, and a diner that specializes in wedding cake sized cinnamon rolls.I added half a zucchini cut into half moon slices, two handfuls of baby spinach, and extra carrots in addition to what the recipe called for. I used 90% of the sauce and had my own supply of sesame oil, so I used that for the stir frying.The picture shows about half of the total cooked volume. The total cooked amount is about as much as you would get from a generous Korean restaurant on one of those generic oval plates.

I really enjoyed cooking this kit. I bought the other ingredients easily from grocery store. I appreciate the instructions and recipe card included. This was my very first time attempting Japchae and it turned out great! I was able to replicate this recipe again buying ingredients separately just not as easy or convenient. I will definitely recommend this kit and reorder this kit as it makes it so easy to make. I like that it was portioned for two so no guessing how much noodles were needed as they were included in kit.

This was my first time ever trying anything like this. I liked that there were instructions in Korean and English it was easy to follow. This reminds me of instant ramen. The mushrooms were still a bit chewy even after soaking. I liked the homecook feel when making these. The noodles and sauce were my favorite part silky, chewy and flavorful. I would suggest using a bit of the sauce at a time as it can become a bit salty. It says it was two servings but I couldn't help but eat it all in one go. I would buy this again in the future.
