I was scanning Amazon last week and this 12 dollar bedside holster caught my eye. I like to keep a gun "by" my bed, and now I have one in bed with me; well, not really, but actually the gun fits between the top and bottom parts of the mattress. It is really a BIG gun also. It is a S&W Model 66, stainless, 357 revolver and weighs about 44 ounces. Anyway, with the velcro wrap consistant with this bedside holster, it fits rather well. The part going between the mattresses is long enough to sustain the weight of this heavy revolver. I am still old school and still like wheel guns but like semi autos also. This holster doesn't conceal the gun but my side of the bed is up against the wall so it can't bee seen unless you walk up by the wall and look down. Even then you would have to know what you are looking for. The holster holds the gun securly but it is easily drawn. I am sure it will hold just about any large semi auto or revolver. This is for defense of my home and we all have to be careful these days . Last week there was a double homicide in our area and a nice young couple, parents of 2 realy young children, killed by a burggler. It is in national news. The point of this is the need to be prepared and this holster will help you do just that. There are several on the market but I was attracted to this one and bought it. I recommend it's purchase.

Not bad. Does hold a pistol nicely, at least my S&W M&P 9 (4" barrel) Compact and daughters S&W M&P 9 (3.1" barrel) Shield. I was concerned because we have a platform bed and it has a "lip" to hold the mattress in place but it works fine. Sticks out a little without the pistol but with it, it lays against the bed within easy reach and draw. Magazine holder works if adjusted properly. However it still is not an easy draw. Flashlight holder the same. Narrow Tac light will work OK. I specifically bought it for the holster so the I don't really care about the magazine and flashlight holder. Quality appears good, hasn't fallen apart yet so I'm satisfied and I'd recommend keeping in mind it may not work for you. For the price it's worth a shot.

Okay, this thing does what it is supposed to. I could see it slipping out and falling on the floor depending on what type of handgun you have in it. But, to me, the biggest problem is...If you know your home has been broken into, when you remove a weapon from this holster, the velcro is "very" loud and the invader is going to hear it easily, unless he or she is very hearing impaired or you live in a mansion. I meant to return this item, but got busy with other matters and went past the return date.

the part that you put under mattress is way too short. You have to remove to change sheets to keep it from falling in floor when you left mattress to fit corners. You certainly don't want an accidental firing.Don't buy if you have anyone that doesn't know gun safety and in no way buy if you have children

Absolute trash, weight of gun will not allow holster to stay on car seat. No bungee or strap to secure to back so it's useless. Back to wedging sidearm between seat and center console. Returning asap.

This bed holster is a terrific value and does the job. Because of the long “paddle” it remains tucked between bed mattresses. It holds a pistol, magazine, and small flashlight perfectly. Highly recommend. Even bought a second one.

I think they inserted the stiffener in backwards, as it has a problem sitting properly. The price is low, as its a cheap item, and I finally decided to just toss it.

This custom fit my Ruger Security 9 above my expectations, I put tied it in place using the hole provided, and have practiced drawing from this position. Great buy, just needs to be put together right
