Solar Powered Watch by Tic-Fashion 50 Meter WR White Dial"Solar Drive"

I bought a solid white one 2 years ago at a small boutique. Loved it so much, that I went back to buy a new one. The owner of the store said he couldn’t get them anymore. I searched on Amazon and was happy to find this one. Just a few minutes near a window and it runs for days.

Its easy to see the time as the face is really big - and the appearance is clean and fresh. I like knowing the time without using my glasses. I like the Solar power and the water resistant features for its price.I wish the band was a bit more soft and pliable and flexible.I have a small wrist so the end of the band sticks out of the its loop- too stiff in the air.Probably great for someone who is NOT petite.

I have an identical watch I bought in early summer; I love it so much, that I decided to get one as a present for a friend's birthday. I also bought a second one for myself, with a black face, to wear with more wintery clothes. It works very well, and is very easy to read, neither too big nor too small, very light; and I loved the design of the bracelet too. The bracelet proved to be solid, it didn't crack or wrinkle. I really love the idea of a solar watch, and I really love this specific make, both models I got. I cannot give any information as to how well it resists water, because I did not wear it while swimming.

Where did the instructions go? The watch arrived nicely packaged, but with one tiny red tag that said SmileSolar as a hint that it was a solar watch. The recipient had no clue as to how best to charge it, or for how long, or other care and feeding instructions. Hence the three star rating. Aside from the lack of instructions, a solar watch is energy friendly and the watch band has a fun design, but if the watch is to be worn by an average sized woman, the watch face is very large.

This is a review of the brand rather than this specific watch. The watch they sent is all white, with a silicon or plastic strap It's cute enough, and I don't have time to reorder, so I'm keeping it. I believe it'll work well enough, but doesn't have the versatility the blue strap would offer.

I really like having a watch that doesn't need a battery. I like being able to read the face of the watch without my glasses. I wish there had been more choices for the watchband. Overall, I am very pleased.
