Gloverall Women's Classic Duffle Coat

I'm around 5"2 and normally a size 8-10. I bought this coat in a size 8 but unfortunately had to return it as it was too big. I understand the gloverall classic coat is supposed to be an oversized coat, but when my mum tried it on, who's a size 14, it was still very big on her also. It's a shame because the coat is a lovely colour and is made from excellent quality, and was definitely warm. The length was also fine, however the overall fit was too large. I think if size 6 was available I would've bought that.

As stated by a previous reviewer, this coat is very oversized. I am 5 ft 6" weighing 65kg. I usually buy a size 16 in coats to allow room for a thick jumper. I bought the Gloverall classic duffle in a size 14 and wore it over a very thick Norwegian jumper. It still felt quite amply proportioned. If you like a coat with a tailored fit I would recommend buying two sizes smaller than usual. The coat reached to my knees, so if you are quite shirt it might look a little odd if it extended below the knee. Also tried the Gloverall slim long duffle but this sized up very tight across the chest and arms in a size 16 and had a weird flared lower half. I have kept the classic duffle as I like a loose fitting coat. Fantastic quality garment

A lovely coat and beautifully made but the classic fit is very wide across the shoulders and chest. I expect it would look great if you have broad shoulders and narrow hips. I ended up buying the Gloverall Slim Fit duffle which fitted perfectly and was true to size.

My favorite of all time coat! I wanted it for ages, and when I saw it at this price was so happy! Great quality, great color, great fit! Goes with everything, I just which the red one was available too. I sized down one size and still roomy enough.
