This product was very straightforward! It does what it says, and it came with batteries, so I was set and good to go!One thing to know is that, as you can see from the pictures, the mechanism this device uses to latch onto your bag is a small, clip on/off loop. It's sturdy, but it's clearly designed to clip onto bag handles and such. If you wanted to weigh, oh, let's say your laptop or something, you'd be out of luck, as the loop wouldn't go around it. But again, clearly, the design of this device does what it's intended to do, and does it well. This last blurb is just a disclaimer for those who are thinking you'll get other uses out of it (although, you could use it for other purposes with some creativity!).Overall, 5/5, especially for this low sale price (>$5). I realize the price has gone up since then, but if it ever dips again, I'd commend this item! Otherwise, I'm sure you can find something comparable in quality for a cheaper price than what it is today (~$13).

The unit I received does not have the strap. Instead it has a hook that is too small to use for most suitcases. I did test it on an empty suitcase but would not want to risk getting a suitcase on my foot with one that is loaded.Does not have a flashlight either.Amazon shipped so not sure if the seller messed up or it was shipped in error?Wish I had gotten what is actually pictured. It is not worth returning for a refund.I found the 2 AAA batteries were pretty easy to figure out which was up and which was down. THEN I attempted to put the battery cover back on. It is not that easy and you will want to be careful not to drop the unit.Now I am sorry I ordered this unit.

I also received this product free of charge. Though, the price is very affordable for two in one product: scale and flash light. Batteries were included!We tried to weight everything in our household: luggage, backpack, shopping bag, even a cat.. The scale is as described by seller: lightweight, has digital display, easy to switch from Lb to Kg, can fit in your purse.I would highly recommend it to a friend!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Just tried to use it for the first time. It does not work at all. We've changed the batteries twice and can not get it to operate. Sadly, the return window has closed. I guess we're stuck with a non-working product.

What a useful scale. Absolute must-have for traveling with luggage.

The product did not have flashlight as shown in the figure. I couldn't return it because I had to leave to another country.

I do not know the company or persons selling this product.Pros: Despite being a lightweight/portable, handheld weighing scale, it is surprisingly solid. I was expecting a flimsy product, but this is built to last.It came with a 2-paged little Instruction Manual, but I'm a guy and don't read those by default. The scale is easy to use and the three buttons on it are self-explanatory. (1) Power/Reset scale for additional weight differential weighing, (2) Changing the units, and (3) Flash light. All buttons are very functional and there are a LOT of different units of weights to choose from. The flash light does not work while the digital scale is on. In order to use the flash light, you need to turn the scale feature off first. But the digital scale lights up so you don't really need to use them both at the same time. It says it goes up to 88 lbs.... I measured mine up to 71 lbs, held fine. COMES WITH BATTERIES!Cons: The "Power" button is not shielded, so if you bring this in your luggage and pack tightly something can push against it and turn it on by itself. However, it does have an "Auto-Off" function to mitigate this. My device came with a tiny bit of white "paint" on it.It looks like a drop of the paint used to put the brand on the product fell in it. (See picture) No big deal. You do however have to be strong enough to lift whatever it is you are weighing.
