Review: Great Idea! They're Great! But, Be Wary. - We often experience power outages when Nor'easters blow in, so I bought a pack of these rechargeable bulbs to help. At first, I thought they were great. They worked as advertised. You keep them charged, and when the power goes out, the bulbs stay on, so you're not left in the dark looking for a flashlight. They stayed lit for at least five or six hours, giving you the feeling that you still have power. I've used them for probably four months now, through two hours-long power outages. But today, while in the kitchen, I heard the bulb I have screwed into the ceiling light socket, where it has been for four months, begin to sputter and pop. It sounded like a Tesla coil. I immediately took it out. It was not hot, nor was it discolored. I read that these bulbs have a tendency to buzz sometimes, but this was not just a buzz. So, because of this experience, and because I cannot find anything more online about it, I am sadly not going to use them anymore. I was using this particular bulb in a socket controlled by a dimmer switch. I did read where that can have an impact on the behavior of some bulbs. So this may not be a bulb problem, but I will not take a chance. Too bad, because I like them. So, I would suggest just keeping an ear out when using them just to be sure.
Review: fabulous I never want to be without these - best thing I ever got. Our power goes out all the time especially in the winter. putting these in the socket and letting "juice up" for a bit with regular electricity allows them to last longer when the electricity actually DOES go out. They can last for hours in the dark and beats having to carry a flash light around. I charge up the box so when the power goes out, I'm ready. The extra "hooks" can be used to hang the light bulbs without them needing to be in an actual light socket attached to an outlet. Once you get them, it's easy to understand. I never want to be without these!

## Features

- ⚡ Always On When Power Goes Out – No Electricity? No Problem: This isn’t just a bulb—it’s a backup plan. When your power cuts, fails, or goes out, the light stays on thanks to its self-charging 1500mAh battery backup. Keep your family safe during emergencies, apagones, storms, or hurricanes—automatically
- 🔋 Daily Use + Battery Powered Backup in One Bulb: Screw it in like a regular E26 bulb and use it every day. It charges itself while in use, and during a power failure, it instantly becomes a battery operated, non-electric light source—no plug, no outlet, no power needed
- 🧰 From Home to Hurricane Kits – Lights for Every Space: Use in ceiling fixtures, table lamps, classrooms, balconies, or any room at home (casa). Comes with power hooks for portable light in storage areas, barns, or tents. It's the bulb that works wherever others fail
- 💡 Bright Daylight, Low Energy – 80W/100W Equivalent: Delivers crisp 6000K daylight at 750 lumens while using just 15W—80 to 100 watt equivalent performance with 80% less energy. Great for indoor lighting when you still want brightness—especially in blackout conditions
- 🛡️ Built Safer, Built to Last – With 4 Protection Layers: Unlike low-cost options, A23 uses a wide voltage (85–265V) design, with overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, and overcurrent protection. The rust-proof aluminum screw base adds durability for long-term peace of mind
- 🔄 Easy Maintenance for Long-Term Use: To protect the battery, recharge the bulb every 60 days—just screw it into a standard socket and turn the lamp on. Especially important if stored for emergencies. Not compatible with dimmer switches

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use it like a regular light bulb without any extra steps?**
A: Yes. Simply screw it into a compatible fixture and control it with the wall switch as usual. It charges automatically while the light is on and stops charging when switched off, so it does not continue drawing power. —just install and enjoy.

**Q: How bright is it, and which fixtures does it fit?**
A: It provides illumination comparable to an 80W incandescent bulb, making it suitable for larger spaces such as living rooms. With 1.5 times as many LEDs as other emergency bulbs, it has a larger body: 2.9 in. wide, 5.5 in. tall, E26/E27 sockets.

**Q: Do I need to remove the bulb to charge it? What if it is stored for a long time?**
A: Not at all! It charges automatically while the light is on and takes about 6–9 hours to fully charge. A longer storage period does not mean the bulb will stop working, but periodic charging helps prevent the battery from becoming deeply discharged.

**Q: I’m buying this for my family. What safety features does it have?**
A: It is built with 85-265V wide-voltage compatibility, 4 layers of protection, and an integrated charging-protection chip. We never compromise on safety. It also comes with two years of after-sales support—come to us anytime if you experience a problem

**Q: Can I use it to give an old, unplugged lamp a new purpose?**
A: Yes! A remote bulb may be even easier, but this one works too. Just clip the included metal clip onto the unplugged cord plug. No need to buy an extra accessory—a household metal clip works as well. Always unplug the lamp first.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ When it works it’s great
*by A***R on June 21, 2026*

Well I thought these weee really cool for power outages. The light is very bright when charged and you could really use it as a flash light was very impressed. BUT last night watching tv ( had it in a lamp using it like a regular light bulb ) I heard a POP sound couldn’t figure out. Woke up this morning and the light is on 🤷🏻‍♀️ well the light bulb won’t shut off the POP must have been something inside I unscrewed it still on screwed the little white cap thing on it and tried turning it off with that switch no luck so now it’s on my table ON 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope the other 3 don’t break
