However, I suspect that the extra flexibility could leave it more vulnerable to popping out under some circumstances. Nevertheless, this worked fine for my needs and it was a very good deal, so I would recommend this.

This is the right product for the job, have used two of these 100ft packs to replace all the screens on my house. Far better value than the smaller packs at the hardware store. 0. 175 inch x 100 foot is the PERFECT size for my condo porch. My cat ripped the screen 2X and the stuff @ home depot was not the right size and they had little selection. I had some some spline falling out and replaced it with this, perfect.
