Good Read!
This was a first book that I have read in the series and I was a little sorry I hadn't started with the first book since most of the characters were all that well defined. Although this is a Christian mystery, that wasn't the whole story. Mitzy Newhaus is a realtor who has invested in an old house that she and her other investors want to make into an inn. As the work is progressing, Mitzy is harassed by the FBI, the local city council and some bad guys. Mitzy has a tendency to go it alone which gets her into a lot of trouble she could have avoided. She is brought to her senses by a senior citizen who asks her if her "god" is the inn or God in heaven. It is a good read.

Dragged on forever!
This book is a continuation of the story line from book one, and I did not find book one that exciting. That said, I did think the book was nicely edited and it is also nice and clean.it is hard for me to believe that the heroine is a hugely successful business woman, as she seems to lack any common sense. Her feud with her sister in law is dull and boring, but it is written about ad nauseum. Seriously, they are supposed to be mature grown women, not 14 year olds. It adds nothing whatsoever to the story, so I presume it is the author's idea of conflict.I felt that the author rambled on and on about all sorts of real estate and business details and this really dragged the book down, and detracted from the mystery, which seemed pretty mediocre. However, that may have been because you have to wade through so many extraneous details to get at the story. That said, it wasn't an awful book, but there wasn't anything especially outstanding about it either.I read this book on my Kindle Fire.

Eminent Domain
I enjoyed this book, I really can't remember too much about it because I read the other two books, one after the other in order. I would not have read all of them if I didn't enjoy them. There were typo's in all the books but you get to over look this. The story is good and there's humor and suspense which is a good combination. If I remember right there's some language I tried to skip over, not super bad but I don't like any bad language in what I read . But as you can see, I started with book one and went through book three in one week...and lived through it, I think they are worth reading if you like excitement.

Good book
This I thought was a little slow but a good book to read. I did get the entire series to finish.

Christian mystery with historical feel
Wasn't action expecting. But plenty of twist and turns. Maybe it's let down because we lose Ben and office assistant . It tells likeliest a good part of main character.b. maybe it's because to lovers worry about welfare of their Coe worker. She sneaks godly principles in with out notice. With two leaving you've lost part of main. So debate on reading third. Wonder on being dis appointed. Not digital Christian mail order bride or Amish romance, so makes nice brake.

Eminent Domain - an enjoyable mystery
This is the 2nd book I read by Traci Tyne Hilton. Her mysteries are easy reading with light humor and a story line that keeps you guessing who's behind all that is going on and still keeps you grounded that Mitzy is still running her realty business. Life keeps moving forward in this book for all the main & secondary characters and the timeline is tied to the first book very well by providing background info from the first book.

Hooray for a Mitzy Neuhaus sequel!
After enjoying the first Mitzy Neuhaus book, Foreclosed, I was excited to see that there was going to be a sequel! This story revolves around converting the property, that was a star in its own right in the first book, into a hotel. Of course, this being the ever inquizitive and go-getter Mitzy Neuhaus, things don't always go as planned. There is somewhere out there making things difficult for her, Alonzo and the FBI. By the second book, I am invested in the characters and love to see how the plot plays out this time around. There is some mystery, some romance and some down-right funny moments in this book. I again loved the descriptive passages throughout the book that made me feel like these people and places were familiar to me.

Enjoyable read but a little weak on continuity
I like Ms. Hilton's writing and think she has created some interesting characters but find that she tends to have some continuity problems. There a are quite a few instances where time frame becomes nebulous and she has several story lines that appear and disappear. That being said I will continue to read as I enjoy watching authors grow. There was significant growth from book 1 to book 2. All the characters were considerably more likeable in book 2. I am staring book three now.

A terrific sequel
The addictively entertaining Emiment Domain picks up where the first Mitzy Neuhaus novel left us - in the property where Mitzy and Alonso found the jewels. Hilton skilfully interweaves different plot strands involving property conversion, the FBI and a romance among other things. The fact that she ensures each one of these storylines remains compelling is a sign that she is an extremely talented author. The narrative voice is even funnier and authoritative then it was in the first book and thus results in one of those off rarities - a sequel that surpasses the original book. The addition of Alonso's sister Carmella, heightens dramatic tension between the protagonists and enriches the overall story. Furthermore, the harsh reality of trying to sell a property in our current economic circumstances adds an astute layer of realism to Mitzy's world.I was surprised at how moved I was by aspects of the ending. But it is a testament to this addictive and enjoyable book that I found myself yearning for the next Mitzy instalment.
