Fantastic Mouse. Perfect Sensor, Shape, Size, Feel and Glide. Flawless.
Fantastic Mouse, will be keeping it for many years, feels like it is very durable will last. Very happy with this upgrade, perfect time for my old DAv2 Pro Wired to be retired (Awesome Mouse). I upgraded from the DAv2 Pro Wired to DAv3 Pro Wireless during Prime Week just days before the DAv4 Pro Wireless was announced so returned the DAv3 Pro after a few days of use and bought the DAv4 Pro instead. Without a doubt the DAv4 Pro is an upgrade on the DAv3 Pro in every way. Even if only subtly in places its noticeable throughout. New coating / feel of the mouse is great, light as a feather, feels like it fits better in my hand than the DAv3 Pro, possibly a tiny bit longer and maybe closer to the DAv2 Pro length (which I preferred). Despite being lighter it feels noticeably sturdier than the DAv3 Pro. Can definitely feel the difference with the larger skates, glides so smooth. Sensor picks up all movement perfectly, it feels so responsive and has worked on any surface so far. Wireless range is very far, worked far enough away where I could no longer see my Monitor. Mouse button clicks feel more tactile / slightly firmer than the DAv3 Pro for sure, also has a nice strong and deeper click sound. Having a gap between the side buttons now is much better. INSANELY Good Battery Life!

Fantastic, high quality, and reliable
Bought this mouse as a replacement for my 4+ year old DeathAdder V1 and I have been really impressed with all the new features. I can genuinely feel the difference between the new and old sensor and find that it has made my accuracy in games like Rainbow Six Siege ever so slightly better. It has also made daily tasks from browsing the internet to doing homework much more enjoyable as it feels much more snappy and responsive. On top of this, the new switches are a big step up from the original and feel more solid and premium, virtually eliminating the rattle that existed in my older model. The new thumb grip also feels a surprising amount more comfortable to use and works wonders in conjunction with the new glide pads that are much bigger and have a different, smoother material than in the DeathAdder V1. I was excited about the extra DPI buttons below the scroll wheel and unfortunately, while I'm sure they could come in handy at some point, I have found no use for them even after I reprogrammed them into usable keys. Macro enthusiasts could definitely find them handy though. Overall this is a solid mouse that I'm sure will last me as long as I need it to. 5/5

Amazing Mouse - V2
Firstly, I want to say I haven't ever owned a gaming mouse and I was previously using a logitech standard office mouse for gaming. Okay so I have been playing Rainbow Six Siege for about 4 hours and in between rounds just testing the accuracy by moving it to certain places on the screen. All i can say is wow the difference is huge! I was already an average player using the office mouse but this thing is taking me to the top of the table in game. This thing is accurate and it's easy to control. I would say i have smallish to medium hands and this fits my hand perfectly to the point that after 4 hours my wrist still feels comfortable. When i used the office mouse my wrist would hurt after a couple hours of gaming. The buttons press nice to, it's quite a satisfying feeling. When you connect your mouse to your PC/Laptop the software installation pops up. There is a lot of bloatware but you can just install the basic software like i did. This allows you to change the colours and DPI settings and it's very straight forward. The cable is another bonus. It's really thick and i can't imagine it breaking anytime soon as it's heavy duty. This is a complaint i see on other gaming mouse reviews. I was originally going to go for the Deathadder Elite but then i saw the V2 and watched loads of youtube videos. All said the V2 was better. I guess it should be as it is more expensive. Does it look durable? I would say so. I really don't know how gaming mice should feel but so it feels like it will last some time. But i guess only time will tell for now i'll give it five stars. I would say this mouse is worth it if you want to up your gaming but you don't want to blow the bank spending £100+. Also i read the sensor the V2 is the same sensor used on much more expensive mice! Edit 29/03/2021 - Just wanted to let you guys know I am still going strong with this mouse. I am actually a Platinum player on Rainbow Six Siege now so I am happy. One thing I would say some grime does build up on the side buttons if you use them over time. I would give the mouse a quick wipe once a week just to keep it clean, I think it's the material that causes that issue other than that it's all good.

Comfortable wired gaming mouse, especially for larger hands
I used this mouse daily from July 2020 until around June 2023, mainly for gaming but also for general everyday use. One of the biggest strengths for me was the shape and comfort, especially since I have fairly large hands. My hand sat naturally on it, and it stayed comfortable even during long gaming sessions. The side grips also helped a lot with control, and overall, the build quality felt solid throughout the years I used it. The braided cable was durable, and the mouse itself felt very responsive, with plenty of customisation options through Razer’s software. The only real downsides for me were the weight and the fact that it’s wired. I eventually bought a mouse bungee to stop the cable from dragging around during games, and after moving to a wireless mouse, it’s hard to go back since modern wireless latency is so good now. That said, if you can find this around the £40 mark, I still think it’s a very good gaming mouse, especially for people who prefer larger ergonomic shapes. If you specifically like the DeathAdder shape, though, I’d probably recommend looking at one of the newer wireless versions now.

Best mouse for competitive Valorant
I switched to a Razer mouse for the first time a few months ago which was the Deathadder V2 Mini as I needed a really lightweight and claw grip mouse for precision, it was good but having medium/slightly larger hands it was generally way too small and trying to be accurate was inconsistent. (The sensor was also imperfect, flicking back and forth on the same spot resulted in the cursor being in different spots) I then decided to try the regular V2 mouse and instantly felt a huge improvement in accuracy, the glides were as perfect as a viper, the clicks felt very thonky instead of high pitch, the cord is better than any stock cord I’ve ever felt, the weight is about 79grams making it in the absolute perfect size to weight and of course the sensor has no delay and is unbelievably accurate, with a 1600dpi it feels crispy for my 280hz monitor and got me form hardstuck diamond/ascendant to immortal. The size is pretty big so if you feel your hands are smaller than medium you’ll be limited in the ways you can grip it. The only complaint I have is the ergonomic shape makes the sides which have a rubberised material not good enough for a perfect grip so as you can see in the pictures I applied the V2 Mini’s grip tape onto it which worked really well. The mouse feels very premium, in video reviews the only thing people complained about is the clicks were kinda wobbly which is not the case at all, probably fixed it.

Great mouse
Great mouse, mediocre software. Anyone that's had a razor mouse for any period of time knows of the infamous double clicking issues that plague the brand, so seeing the optical switches in their standard Deathaddar design was a win. I have fairly large hands and prefer a palm grip, and confirm the mouse is very well suited and comfortable for long periods of use. The cord is another kind of voodoo, offering practically zero resistance due to its weight and flexibility. As with razor products you are forced to create a cloud account to configure the mouse at all, thankfully once you've setup a few profiles you can uninstall the software and use the toggle switch on the bottom of the mouse to quickly switch between the modes (indicated by the adjacent LED light). One drawback of the mouse is the buttons on the top of the mouse, these are practically inaccessible without adjusting your grip, so these are best suited for OS functions like switching music tracks rather than gameplay. Thankfully the side buttons are always available and easy to press. Overall time will tell how these new optical switches hold up, but the past 5 months have been problem free

V2 is a lot better than V1
Well hopefully find this interesting as the Death Adder V2 is actually a decent step up from the previous model which I bought about 3 years ago and still going strong. The first point about the DeathAdder 2 is that the mouse skates (feet) feel a lot smoother than on the Deathadder 1 and they feel a lot more durable. Also having replaced the skates on my V1 the process for replacement (not that you would need to for a couple of years) looks a lot more simple with only two strips that you would have to fit. The software from Razer is good but please be aware that it can cause lag issues in some games, so some people choose to install the software, setup the mouse to their specs and then uninstall the software. The mouse will store profile on the device which means... you can actually take it to somewhere else and it will behave exactly like it does on your pc! Great if you fancy having a lan or using the mouse on a device that does not have the software installed. I'm really happy with the quality of the mouse, I have long fingers and the mouse is very comfortable to hold but it feels lighter which helps with movement. If you are happy with the V1 I'd urge you to try out the V2 as I am really happy with the upgrade, the speed of the mouse and new lighter weight make it worth the money. If you liked the V1 you'll love the V2 :)

Mouse so good bought another one!
This review is for the first mouse i purchased couple of months ago...please don't get me wrong...i absolutely love this mouse...it is a great mouse and that is the only reason i purchased another one from (i guess the same place) which i received two days ago...the reason i am reviewing the first one is because after receiving the second i noticed a couple of differences...firstly...the second had a usb plug protector cap on it whereas the first did not...secondly...there was a very nice razer sticker sheet with the second one whereas the first did not have any...thirdly the second one was very snuggly packed and after taking out the mouse had a really nice new smell and feel whereas the first was nicely packaged but didn't seem quite so good...had a different feel and smell in that couldn't really smell anything (just like the second one now after a couple of days) has lost that newness feeling...so i am guessing that the mouse was a return from somewhere and not brand new out of the box! of course it is working just fine...i just wanted to vent my frustration that i thought i was getting a brand new one and one that had never been used or out of the box before...so...just be warned...it could happen to you....check when you get it...unfortunately i wasn't even thinking of that when it arrived...was just too damned excited to open it up and start using it...again...it is seriously worth the money! a great mouse...that's why i bought the second one for the wifey! :)

Top points for the Razer mouse. Effective and comfortable.
Very pleased with this purchase. The Razer mouse arrived quickly and securely packaged. Plug and play allowed me to immediately connect it to my computer and start being productive. The buttons are responsive with tactile feedback. There are sufficient buttons that you’re not overwhelmed with a dozen different buttons that get accidentally pressed. The laser optical tracking means that you can use it on nearly any surface. The scroll wheel has a light click-stop feel that is perfectly balanced between smooth scrolling and click scrolling. The USB cable is reinforced fabric covered and extra long so you can place the mouse for comfort. The price may seem steep compared to many other computer mice, but I assure you that it is worth every bit.
