There is a hook to hang bird feeder under the baffle. **Q: Does anyone know the diameter of the central hole with the inserts removed, as this won't fit the pole. Thanks.** A: If u take away the inserts then u wldn’t be able to attach a feeder underneath the dome. **Q: How do i attach hook to loop? do i need to saw off a bit of metal as the obvious place (l shaped) on the other side of the hook plate is closed.** A: The hook is already attached to the loop. The loop passes through the hole in the baffle and the hook hangs underneath. I recommend hanging the loop from an additional 60cm 'tree hook' (RSPB shop) for extra squirrel deterrence.
