Kashif

Kashif is one of my favorite musicians from the period of funk/R&B in the early 80s. His contemporaries include Leon Sylvers, Gerald Levert, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and Prince. Pretty stiff competition!!!. But he held his own starting out as keyboadist for BT Express and writing and producing for Evelyn Champagne King and Whitney Houston. I've always had wax, but due to the loss of a storage account, I had to rebuild my collection with CDs. This man was close to an associate of mine. I never met him but his music was burned in my brain. Especially Whitney's "Thinking About You" and "I'm In Love" that he wrote for Evelyn King. He also sang with Whitney on"Thinking About You" but my personal fav duet is one he did with Evelyn called "Don't Hide Our Love" from the I'm in Love album. His passing was a shock to many. He will be missed but I have his first 2 cds of great music. Play on, playa... RIP

If the walls could talk today when I was playing this back in the day I'd be in BIG trouble with the wife, and probably in WORSE trouble if her walls chimed in when she was listening to it because it sure wasn't with ME. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Loved this CD! The bonus was awesome! Kashif was and still is one of my favorite artists. No one does this kind of music anymore. Others in my office we have never listen to this music love Kashif!

Listening to Kashif in the 80's while stationed in Germany was on point! Every album he came out with all families had them.The slow cuts ,fast cuts and all in between.Kashif forever!!
