I have been waiting anxiously for this blanket. We just got our Sensory Processing Disorder diagnoses for our 3 year old toddler. She has never been a good sleeper, she still doesn't sleep alone in her bed. And since she was an infant, she has never tolerated blankets on her during naps or overnight. She would wake out of a dead sleep and kick them off fussing....But this blanket has assisted us tremendously since we have received it. I've been eyeing weighted blankets for quite a while but they have always been out of our price range, especially since our tot didn't like any blankets. When these went on sale, combined with the company's already very affordable prices, I decided to give it a try. The blanket is SO well made. The material is not scratchy but not overly soft (which our SPD child can not handle) The color is a true purple and rich, and so far it has stood up the the abuse of our toddler's restless nights. We are still in the "getting use to it faze" however, I can see a difference in how she settles with this blanket v. when she doesn't have it. She is often in constant motion even will about to go to sleep, when I lay the blanket on her while we snuggle for bed time and read or watch a movie, she will quit moving around and relax some, under the blanket. She will kick it off throughout the night, but I'll place it back on her and she does wonderful! I recommend this for any SPD parents out there looking for help with their sensory seekers and over sensory kids! Our first blanket was lost in the mail. The Sellers were quick to provide a new one after the claim was made with Fedex, and I greatly appreciate that knowing, they probably took a loss on this sale. I hope they read this and know that the new blanket was well received and helping our family!! I'm already saving up to get the spare cats and dog print one for a back up and for the sitter's house!

My daughter is now 12 and has ADD with some sensory issues. She got this blanket for her birthday and she said it was her favorite present!! A blanket. She says she can fall asleep, and stay asleep so much better. She said she will defiantly be taking it anywhere she goes for a sleep over/camping/grandmas house.Thank you

I first heard about these blankets on Facebook. That prompted me to do some research and it didn't take much to convince me this is exactly what my 8 year old daughter needed. She suffers from anxiety and possibly ADHD and had a very hard time falling and staying asleep. The night before the blanket arrived was especially rough, she woke several times. The next night I put the blanket on her and she was surprised by how heavy it was but she LOVED it. I can't say her middle of the night wake ups have stopped 100% but it's close. It's been amazing and she adores her blanket. The only downside is that while technically it is machine-washable, my newer washer and dryer don't like it. Because it's heavy (I bought the 6 lb) it tends to make the washer uneven several times and I have to constantly babysit it. I put it in the dryer for 3 entire cycles but it still wasn't completely dry. Still, I'd buy it again and again to help her get a good night's sleep. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Total life game changer! I bought for my 5 year old son as it has helped him sleep immensely. I feel so grateful I found this product. Already washed it once and it’s still in tact. My sons smiles and snugggles in every night when I lay it on him.

I have twin autistic 8 year old grandsons. They love it. They say it feels like a big hug. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit small, like a throw size. Still, if you have been thinking about getting a weighted blanket this company is great. They have multiple products.

My son who has sensory issues - and normally doesn’t like blankets in general - took right to this. Sleeping soundly as I type this. Nice blanket, great price compared to others, and seems well made. Haven’t washed it yet but so far so good!!

My daughter has some sensory issues along with ADHD, high anxiety and depression. This blanket helps her sleep at night. I love it too and am thinking of getting one for myself
