Modway Waverunner Memory Foam Sectional Sofa in Brown

Bought this about 6 months ago and I LOVE IT! Fits perfectly in our small condo living room (or in a basement). The short height of it gives the entire room a spacious feeling that you wouldn't get with typical sofas. Also, the shape of it is so comfortable you just want to sink into it and you can easily fall asleep on it. Sits 7 comfortably. At first I was apprehensive because I didn't know how to take stains out of micro fiber suede! Turns out it's really easy! Once I spilled olive oil and it came right out after soaking the stain with plain yogurt. Weird, I know, but to my amazement it actually worked. Then I accidentally marked it with a pen. Again, came out in seconds with nail polish remover and q tips. We have the light brown color and it's easy to coordinate with other decor and furniture. Also saw the red version in a store and it was pretty sexy if you can pull it together. Although the ottoman is nice, we've put it away in a closet because it didn't fit well in our living room, but it makes for a nice sectional. The only negative is that the sofas are so lightweight that you'll need to get good quality furniture stubs (not expensive) from home depot to keep them from sliding if you're going to put them on wood flooring.

This is knock off of a very nice Roche Bubois sofa. The design, for me, was perfect and I thought I had grabbed a real bargain. The construction is not so good. After a few months the filling had shifted and now sections of the seating feel as if you are sitting directly on a rigid wooden frame. Terrible construction. Not for everyday use. This is style over substance and unfortunately, I need to buy another sectional. I should have read the broader comments on this product. Not blaming the manufacturer, but steer clear unless the purchase is solely for aesthetics.

I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons.It is not the most comfortable furniture it is just OKIt is not very easy to get up from it if you happened to be over 50The color is mousy color, not brown.On the plus side it is modern and has a soft not heavy look. Being low it makes the room ceiling to look higher. It does not obscure the view from my atriums. And the color I hope will be OK after a while, I have 5 years old grandson.All being sad I am satisfied with my choice. Came very well packed and took 10 minutes to unwrap and put in place.I thought the ottoman will go in the closet, but it looks very good with the chair.

If you are elderly, do not get this couch. My parents cannot sit in it because it is so low to the ground, and they also cannot get up out of the seat. It's also very uncomfortable. It's definitely not designed to lie down on because of all the bumps in it. Also, the back support is poor. It seems to go concave, so you'd definitely need to buy lots of pillows unless you want to develop the posture of the Humpback of Notre Dame. Perhaps this couch is designed more for a children's room?

seam work is shotty

I love the TOGO by Ligne Roset that this rips off. It looks really great in brown - (avoid the orange color) Warning. This sofa does NOT last. Within months the foam impacted and now all you feel is the wooden beam. Get it if you are looking for something sort of temporary or for light use - you will be disappointed. But, hey, it's a knock off - what do you expect?
