For certain applications the latches are perfect, but for my need the latches we're a bit too small. I'm sure, however, that I can make them work for my need.

These latches are well designed and solidly constructed but don't rely on the claim of "stainless steel." Installed outside mine showed significant surface rust in just a few days. You'll need to supply your own mounting hardware -- I used 1/8 inch stainless rivets which worked well. Also please be aware these latches are shipped directly from China so allow about one month for delivery.

I bought some latches at a local lumber yard for about the same price and size as these latches. I had to return them because they did not close without bending. I then ordered the Amico latches and found that because of their thickness and the spring action they worked perfectly. They are tough and look good. I highly recommend this product.

Total garbage. It showed signs of rusting in a few weeks. Attempted to clean and spray to preserve. Latch seized. Now using KR 1 to free it up. Such a pity as they do work well.

These are really well made, solid latches. I wondered about them but am glad I took the chance. Also, shipping only took about a week, even though it said it would take longer. Very pleased and would recommend. I used them to latch an old freezer door shut so it could not accidentally open when I'm not home.

Do not order these! They do not come with the hook part of the latch.

The latches on a nice (except for the latches) golf club case I had were broken. I used the original holes and drilled a few extra for these hinges and they work GREAT. I don't have to worry about the case opening after checking it on the airline or while pulling it behind me.
