So easy to thread the needle now.

These work good but do not pull too hard or it will come unthreaded

they work; it takes some finesse to thread and not wrap around needle. Also, they come unthreaded. They snag on stray material threads. But compared to finding that itsy bitsy hole in regular needles, they are great.

The product is great. I love not having to put glasses on to see to thread the needle. However the order I received today was in a sloppy package. the box was almost as large as a shoe box to hold 5 small cards of 5 needles each. They were loose in the box with only some air bags to cover them. One of the needle card plastic holders was broken and the needles had fallen out and only one was loose in the box, the others must have fallen out between the cracks and openings in the corners. So I received 4 complete needle cards of 5 each and one loose needle from the 5th box. I would like another card of needles please to replace what was lost.

It took much too long for delivery, and the price to send such a small item was inexcusably high.When it did receive it the case was soo hard to open that I had to break it to get to the needles. . Although I have used self threading needles for hand sewing these DID NOT* work. I could not get the thread into the slot. Would not recommend that anyone else buy this!!!!!

For someone with a vision issue, these are a godsend; however, they are also finicky. I find them easy to thread and have no problems with them unthreading as long as I keep an eye on the direction the thread is heading. If I allow it to go sideways or toward me, it will come out of the notch. As long as it is oriented away from me, it stays put. I ordered the size 80 first and promptly broke two of them. As mentioned in other reviews, they are very delicate. I’ve had more luck with the size 90. They are fine for many fabrics, but certainly not for delicate or loosely woven ones since the opening on the side of the needle catches and snags the fabric. Other reviewers have mentioned problems with the needle unthreading after the first few stitches. I have not had an issue with this as long as I hold the needle and bobbin threads with my free hand for the first few stitches, maintaining a slight tension on them, so they don’t get somehow tangled. I have always been in the habit of doing this, even before using these needles. Somehow, those first few stitches can be problematic. Finally, I have learned to not backstitch with these needles. They simply don’t like it. Having said all this, am still grateful for the easy and quick threading and am very glad I found these.

These work great for those of us that us reading glasses. I don't know about you but I still have trouble while using my reading glasses. This makes life so much easier. Wish I had gotten them sooner,
