Lynktec Multi-Angle Portable Stand for iPad, Tablets and E-readers

I really like this kickstand. Lightweight and smooth operating. HOWEVER - although the item name include the phrase "all iPads" (as of this writing) it WILL NOT stay attached to an iPad Pro 12.9" model. I've not purchase two of these.The first one stayed attached to my Pro case for about 1 week before falling off. Even after repeated cleanings it would stay attached only about 3 hours. I bought a 2nd one and it stayed on the first time for only 2 hours before dropping off. I have tried each directly to the back of the iPad Pro with the same results.Lynktec support offered to test it for defects but then we hit on the fact I was using it on the 12.9". Now they tell me it is NOT SUPPORTED (no pun intended) for the 12.9" iPad. From what I see this is SOLD BY Lynktec so I've email them and reported to Amazon that the listing has "all iPads" in the title.I will re-vist this product if/when they ship one that is useable on the 12.9" iPad Pro.

A little bulky but very solidly and well made, works very well. Kickstand is adjustable to pretty much entire 180 degrees of arc. The hinge is stiff so it'll stay in any position without having to manipulate a clamp or lever, which is why there isn't one.You'll want to make sure the iPad back is very clean before sticking the mount to the back so it'll get the best grip. Tip: Apply a little downward pressure (toward the iPad) when moving the stand, it'll help keep the grip plate secure. The sticky pad is not adhesive, it's a super grip substance of some sort, but you can remove it without leaving any residue or goop behind. It's nice to see high quality accessories and well made accessories such as this.

Absolutely awesome, but I would like a slightly smaller one. I'm using this on my HP envy note 8, to turn it into something like a tiny portable cintiq. I love that this stand can easily be positioned to hold the tablet at any angle, but it's a bit too big for this tablet. Fortunately it rotates, so I can collapse it sideways. It totally works, but it feels overkill having this giant thing on the back of such a tiny computer. Nonetheless, I think it's the best thing like it out there. I really would prefer a smaller, thinner, lighter version though.

I finally found the best stand for my Surface Pro. I have purchased many but none is perfect. I am still using my Surface Pro 1. Yes, I know Surface Pro 4 is released with adjustable angles. But I still like my Surface Pro 1 and it suits my needs so I'll stick to it a little bit longer after receiving this stand. It is very easy to install. After receiving it, 10 min later I am using it, with adjustable angles!! I used to use case to support multiple angles(3 angles actually), but it increases the weight of the surface, makes it bulky and the heat from the machine cannot dissipate so the fan keeps running, reduces the battery life. Now, it is slim, light and multiple angles. I cannot believe how much I love it! I can even write on the surface with the stand.

Bought for my Samsung Tab S2. Has two very practical uses : 1. Obviously as a stand - as others have said - very flexible, portrait or landscape, adjusts to any viewing angle. The arm stiffness is just right, stiff enough to hold a tablet at any desired viewing angle, but loose enough to easily adjust. Arm is light enough to leave on & carry around with tablet 2. As a hand hold when viewing away from a surface - very comfortable & relaxed, non-tiring hand hold : in armchair, bed, travelling by train, plane etc. arm rotates through 360º for viewing at any rotation. Photos show two methods of hand hold.The adhesive pad : Reading the problems other reviewers have had with the arm not adhering securely to the tablet I was super scrupulous in cleaning the back of the tablet, pressing down on the pad on to the tablet & leaving for an hour before using to ensure a good bond. All seemed good & secure until I was using in bed that night & the arm came away - I thought "here we go, same problem as other users" & was thinking of removing the adhesive pad & replacing with strong adhesive squares as a permanent bond, I don`t need to remove the arm anyway, but I gave the existing adhesive pad one more try - I wetted it under a tap, patted it dry & let it naturally air dry, then re-applied it & since then for the last week it has kept adhered well & seems secure. With the original adhering problem I would have given 3 stars, but now happy to give 5 stars & recommend.

Not much for taking time out and writing reviews, but I just needed to chime in on this item. Item does not stay attached very long, sticks to surface for only a short period time before falling off. My personal opinion is that suction would work better than just a sticky back.I have tried on multiple surface as smooth as glass and still the stand falls off after some time.I guess item would be useful for short period use, NOT LONG TERM.!

Extremely satisfied! I love the stand already! Such a great product! I like the ability to change the position and angle of my ipad with this stand. So many stands have a "Standard" angle/slot that the ipad sits. The ability to angle it myself helps to cut out glare, and also to position it just right depending on the position I am in at the time.

I've purchased about four of these, over a couple of years. They are great - they can be adjusted into various configurations to obtain the Landscape or Portrait view you desire.

Just received this today, i've been looking for a stand that is part of the iPad without covering it up. This is a real quality piece of kit. So sturdy, you can put the angle to whatever you want, landscape or portrait and it stays solidly in that position. It rotates well and just feels very well built and secure.It is very expensive, but it looks and feels expensive and I think it will last well. So far i'm very impressed.
