I normally don’t take much time to write reviews but I feel like this one deserves it. I originally bought this blanket for me after seeing one of my patients with the weighted blanket and thought it was amazing. However, I didn’t think about how much 23 pounds actually was until my husband threw it at me and I sunk about 10 feet into the couch :-) the blanket is super soft, amazing quality, and perfect for my husband he slept like a bear in hibernation! But also a death trap and can be used as a weapon 😂 Like I said I originally bought it for me and I did not think my husband would like it however he has taken over it. I think I will need to buy me another one but I will definitely reconsider the weight. Just a little tip, this is not a blanket we will be throwing in our pillow/ blanket fights!! DONT DO IT !😆

AMAZING!!! I have ADHD and I can't watch a basketball game with my hubby because I hear the sneakers screeching and the crowd and the commentators e.t.c.. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I used it one of the nights and watched a game with my hubby and it didn't bother me!! It like brought down some of my sensory issues! I LOVE IT and my daughter LOVES it. And I searched and proved these EVERYWHERE and this is the BEST deal. They are VERY VERY nice and I've already sent the link to everyone at my job and my family. This is also a real review, I wasnt given anything nor do I know the seller!

I am writing a review even though I sent the blanket back. Its absolutely gorgeous and I really did sleep better. The minking is so soft and you really do feel like you are being held all night. My con is I am going through mesopause and the mink part is just too hot for me. I am going with bamboo to breath better. But if your not hot flashing then get this blanket its gorgeous.Ok one con it can not be washed. :) Still a lovely blanket.

Do not buy this if you already can’t get out of bed, as this blanket makes it near impossible. Throw it on top of your normal blankets for maximum comfort. Though I’m writing this in the midst of winter, I don’t find that this blanket adds nearly as much heat as you’d expect, mostly just comfort that pins you to sleep. Weight ≠ overheating. I saw a lot of reviews saying that the products received were short (and that the customer service provided for such issues was immaculate), but mine is up to par with the length, so perhaps they’re paying more attention to detail now. There are some similar products in the $200 range, but you would be wise to purchase this one as they are literally all made the same way, and to reiterate, it’s not the end all be all of blankets - it is just a great way to achieve maximum comfort and keep you sleeping through the night.

I opened the package and was so happy that ordered it, then I lifted the blanket and thought this was the heaviest 15 lbs ever!! I was scared with my anxiety and my claustrophobia I would not be able too handle this weight, that I’d feel trapped etc. but that WAS NOT THE ISSUE AT ALL!! It was the complete opposite and I love it so much and you will too, just get it, and don’t worry about how heavy it is at 1st, the weight evens out as you cover up in it and then you get the feelz as (snug as a bug in a rug) lol😉 10 out of a 10

Total false advertising on this product. The screenshot provided shows the title says “HEATED weighted blanket. But the actual title of the product page does not say anything about it being heated. I purchased this as a gift for the sole reason of it being a *HEATED* weighted blanket, only for it to arrive and we were very disappointed.

Got this as a gift for my wife who likes heavy blankets and this, while heavy doesn't do well. It doesn't trap heat at all, which is terrible. The blanket definitely gives the comfort of the weighted blanket and it's comfy. That said, it doesn't retain or trap heat at all. Thought this would be a great heavy blanket to snuggle, but only if you have the heater and/or fireplace going.

This weighted blanket provides so much warmth and comfort for me. I’ve been getting better sleep at night due to the effects of using this blanket. I have anxiety, especially at night, and this blanket calms me down! It’s so soft, my husband and kids want to use it too! It stays super clean (although I’ve made sure to keep everything except water away from it). It is exactly what I hoped for and more!

Worth every penny! This blanket was everything I was hoping it would be! When you first hold the blanket it feels like...wow...this is heavy (I got the 18lb one). But once you try it, the weight distribution is perfect! It is comfortably soft and I slept like a child! It does exactly as it promises, gives you that peace and sense of security, like a warm hug all night! Love, love, love it!
