Be careful or you'll break it.
I just bought this a few months ago and like the previous 2 I've purchased, when slightly moving the projector or receiver, if that line gets pushed beyond 90ยฐ you'll break the optional line in them and then they're no good. I bought this one because it says it's very durable but none of them are that I've found. If you don't ever plan on moving those items, and don't need a sharp bend in the cable, then absolutely would recommend.

Great Cable, poor quality control?
Hopefully, quality control has improved, as had to return two cables in order to get two that worked. I ordered two and they were non functioning from the start.Once, that was resolved, hassle free by Amazon, these are outstanding cables and highly recommended.One is used primarily audio set-up and the other is used to connect as PS4.The audio clarity notably improved with SACD, DTS and other discs.The PS4 picture detail improved as well.Overall, great cable, value and does the job. (just had to sort through to find the two great ones from the duds)

The only (best) way to deal with long distance HDMI
I have installed several optical HDMI cables over the years now and can say without a doubt this is the correct solution. Don't mess with some converter / CAT 6 (or CAT 5e) solution. Just get an optical HDMI cable and be sure not put tug too hard on the end or bend it too sharply (after all it is an optical cable). I have never broken one, but am cautious when I run them. Just make sure what you get has enough bandwidth and two way data (there are lots of different HDMI standards). Remember to future proof as best you can, when this all started 4.95 Gb/s was enough now we are at 48 Gb/s and counting.

this product is very deceiving.
I have bought multiple of this cable to wire our basement. So far the cable works however you will have issues if you are not installing from directly from Source to display. If you have any additional equipment in-between the source and display, expect some issues. I like how thin and flexible the cable is however I did not experience any better or less in way of picture quality.

this is a high-speed optical HDMI cable for extra-long length over 15 feet!
" First let me say this is not a ordinary cable! Its design for ultra high bandwidth. " Example for running 4K at its highest resolution over 12 to 15 ft ...normal high speed cables will start to fail and gilch. Play it safe with this cable because it's a optical HDMI cable. "Pro tip this is one directional!!!!" So keep that in mind when installing.

Serves its purpose
Serves its purpose. Thinner than the typical HDMI cables. Not sure if it's because of fiber optics. Not super flexible as it is fiber optics cable and kinda expected. I bought this because I need a long cable that sends signal without a loss and this fits mine.

I purchased this cable for my theater setup. AV cabinet is in the front of the room and projector is in the back. I needed a cable long enough to fish through ceiling and walls. I tested this cable about 3 days before I buried it. No issues.
