The silicone band attach around your rangefinder like a watch, and with the strong magnet within the band: you can stick it to a cart pole, irons or use the included adhesive magnetic plate to put it on your pull or push cart console. With this device, you will always have your rangefinder at hand reach, and you will never misplace it again. P.S. If your pull/push cart console is rounded, you can add exterior mounting tape under your adhesive metal plate to level it.

Does what it is supposed to do.
This strap is thin enough that it doesn't interfere with any buttons on a laser (as opposed to a competing product which is about as wide as the small lasers and does cover the buttons), and the magnet is strong enough to hold it steady on the cart post over the regular bumps you would expect on a course. My laser is a lighter one, so I didn't see any movement like one other reviewer had mentioned his concern - perhaps that was a heavier unit.Another big feature for me was the included metal plate to stick on the top of your push cart. I walk at least half my rounds, and this provides a way to have the laser handy and accessible instantly.I've only had this a week and half now, so it's just been with me on 2 riding rounds, and 3 walking rounds, but it sure seems durable and sturdy enough that it will be with me for years.

Strong magnet
The strap is simple and effective. I had read reviews of the other magnetic holder/straps on the market. All of them had at least a few reviews stating the magnet wasn't strong enough or that the holder covered the buttons of the rangefinder. No issues at all with this handy strap. I've played two rounds with the rangefinder attached to the cart's roof frame; it has not yet fallen off. I do make it a point to attach to the frame where the bottom is supported by the top of the windshield (folded down, of course), but even on the bumpiest of paths, it did not fall off. Additionally, both buttons on top of my Double Eagles rangefinder are visible and unobstructed. The only small issue I have, and it would be the case with any cover, is that with the extra bulk of the strap, it is harder to get out of my pocket. I simply lay it on a towel on the ground now on those days that are cart path only.

Fixed and Ready to Go! Rick solid!
Received today and is now strapped to my Bushnell. Will tee off tomorrow at noon with the Lunch Bunch with my range finder attached to the driver side post of my cart at River Birch Golf Club in Amory, Mississippi. Don’t apologize for not knowing where Amory is much less River Birch. But, it’s too bad, until you correct your current deficiency by visiting us.Do not expect anything other than 100% performance from your product. If no further contact, you can rest easy knowing 100% was achieved. This is a follow up to the above. Once I removed the the pasted cover from the magnet, it stuck to the cart post like glue. Watching it shaking distracted me so much I transferred it to the steering column where it is more stable and lets me keep my focus on golf.

Hasn’t fallen off and less bulky then the Velcro one that’s sold in all the stores
Bought this because I love the idea of the magnetic strap for my laser but hate the bulk of the monument version with Velcro. Was actually debating on buying new Bushnell with the magnets built it just because I hated the huge bulky Velcro strap that covers all the buttons and has that hideous plastic part that makes handling the laser awkward. This strap is simple, straps on like a watch band and holds just as well. Tested it out over the bumpiest of stretch’s on the course and it never fell. So far its a winner.

Great for small rangefinders
I bought this to fit a Nikon 20i and it works beautifully. Interestingly, with the magnet on the left side of the rangefinder, it interfered with the activation switch and would not power the laser. Problem solved by placing magnet on right side.
