Excellent!!!
An amazing book. Well thought out and well explained. My playing has improved 100 fold in the 2 weeks I've been using this book. An absolutely essential buy for any budding harp player. I'd give it ten stars if I could!!

Excellent
Highly recommend it for beginners or intermediate blues students. I was playing for only about 2 years and starting to jam. Other musicians could notice the improvement. I have bought other David Barrett learning items also.

Probably one of the most useful in the series
This may be a useful reference but still contains alot of information, which in my opinion, seems to be dissecting blues to a formula so precise that there is no spontaneity left.I actually found the 2 min intro ditty played by the author was the most inspiring thing to come out of this entire book series. I learned that as a framewok for improvising in a local pub and have hardly touched the rest of the book.Dave Barrett has made an industry of writing blues harp books that all cover more or less the same thing. I think they also assume that you are an alien and have landed on this planet, never having heard a bar of blues in your life. This book sumarises a lot of things covered in other books in his growing series, but I think listening to the greats like Little Walter (for which there is a play along book) was far more useful and quicker.

Soddisfattissimo.
Ben fatto davvero, ma per capirlo e studiarci sopra bisogna saper leggere la musica visto che sono praticamente 30 pagine di spartiti.
