Bright and Long-lasting!
I recently purchased these lights for my kitchen cabinets, and I'm extremely impressed with their performance. Here's why I love them: Durable and Long-Lasting: These LED puck lights are built to last. Despite being exposed to water and steam in the kitchen, they've held up remarkably well over time. I appreciate the waterproof design, which gives me peace of mind knowing that they'll continue to function flawlessly for years to come. Strong Adhesive: The adhesive backing on these lights is top-notch. They stick securely to the underside of my cabinets without any issues, providing reliable illumination exactly where I need it. Even with regular use, they haven't budged or come loose, which speaks to their durability. Bright and Efficient: These puck lights emit a bright and clear light that's perfect for illuminating my countertops while I cook. Despite their compact size, they provide ample brightness, making it easy to see what I'm doing in the kitchen. Plus, they're energy-efficient, so I don't have to worry about them driving up my electricity bill. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the lights. They're a fantastic addition to my kitchen and have exceeded my expectations in terms of durability, adhesive strength, and brightness. Highly recommend!

Very Small, But Bright.
These little lights work great in providing extra light inside my fridge drawers. They are a little smaller than what I was expecting, but they are waterproof and you can stick them anywhere to provide light where most needed. One of the lights wouldn't turn on, so I contacted the company and they sent me a brand new pack. Excellent customer service and communication.

Perfect License Plate Light
Hubby got stopped because the license plate light went out in his car. After taking the car to the dealer to decipher the problem, he was advised that he would pay $160 for an electrical system diagnosis, and then whatever the repair cost was on top of that, depending on the source of the malfunction. We ruled out being robbed of hundreds of dollars to repair a license plate light and searched for other options. Turns out these lights are perfect. We tucked one in the recession just above the license plate. The light is very bright, and the adhesive is strong enough that there is no concern about it falling off. They're also small enough that the light isn't visible to someone walking by the car, so they aren't likely to be stolen (as are the larger puck lights, which we tried first). The light is simple to click on before driving in the dark and off again when you arrive at your destination. They are indeed waterproof, as they've been used repeatedly during our rainy season the past month with no problems. These lights are a very inexpensive, brilliant substitute for a malfunctioning license plate light.

Good little lights but problems with changing batteries
I bought these little lights to use in a dollhouse I'm making with my grandkids and they work great. They light up the rooms perfectly. I especially liked the fact that the batteries could be replaced, but when I actually tried to replace some I ran into difficulty. When I unscrewed the base to access the battery there was a piece of plastic in the way. On the package, it says "unscrew the plastic safety retainer inside the battery compartment," but I could not figure out how to unscrew it. I just about wrecked the light trying to get it out, and finally gave up. I sent an email to Lux Pro telling them my problem, not really expecting an answer, but several days later I got one. Here it is: "I am so sorry for the confusion, we upgraded our LP172's to be more Complient with the Reese's Law, we are currently working on updating the user manuals and instructions on the packages, that extra piece of plastic should have two tiny holes in them, take a small tool that can fit inside just enough to twist it like you did the base and it will unscrew, once this step is complete, press down on the power button gently to pop the battery compartment out." I used a tiny screwdriver that my husband uses to fix his glasses and was able to follow these directions and get the piece of plastic out, but it wasn't real easy. Then when I had changed the batteries, I had to put it back because it doesn't work without it. Getting it back in was difficult but I did finally manage it, although it isn't screwed all the way in. It does work though, and maybe it will be easier next time, now that I know how to do it. I do like these lights, in spite of this issue. They really make a difference in the dollhouse.

Good to have available (5 pack puck light)
Finally reviewing these puck lights. The brightness is excellent. I havenโt had any duds , as of now, in any of my packages. I use them in random places. Sometimes used as a night light, when a regular night light isnโt enough, but a room light is too much. Stuck one on my drill when I needed more light to work. Stuck one on magnification glasses while I was working on a small solder. Iโve left two or three on over 12 hours, and they still โworkโ- Definitely not enough by that point to illuminate a small space, but I could find a pen or something in the bottom of a small bag. I would estimate , that if the end user received a good pack, the stated longevity of 10 hours is accurate- with reduced luminance. The biggest draw to purchase this product was replaceable battery. Rechargeable lights are fine, cost effective options-when you have electrical accessibility or a method to recharge. Replaceable battery is good as a backup if you donโt and have access to the batteries you need. I try to keep both options on hand and ready to use. The BEST way Iโve found to open the compartment to change the CR2032 battery is using needle nose jewelry/ small pliers( straight or bent nose). A little extra strength is possibly needed to initially break a seal, but done once makes repeated battery changes easier. The package says the item is โwaterproof โ. I havenโt tried these in a situation where they were submerged in water. I would guess they are waterproof when new (battery not replaced) and if the compartment is later opened to replace the original batteries, the effect is reduced. I may test water resistance after adding an o-ring between the main housing and components. Takeaway: Great for minor lighting needs in the home, stored in vehicle, taken on trips, lighting models/ dollhouses, working light or illuminating a small space where light would be beneficial. The estimated usage/run time seems accurate (if original batteries not degraded in storage).

Cheap and effective solution to working with EV charging ports at night
Bought this to be able to see a EV charge port in low light. GM makes an OEM solution to this problem- a $300 aftermarket part for this car that requires drilling, fishing and hard wiring- so about $600-700 total for a โsolutionโ to the fact the engineers figured itโs a rare person who needs to see the port when charging at night. So for a little over $2 bucks apiece I purchased this set of 5 puck lights. I did boost the mount strength by adding some 3M outdoor tape on top of their foam tape, but the foam tape is probably strong enough. Used alcohol to wipe the mounting location, then after it dried placed in position and pushed for about a minute to set and left it without driving overnight. I made sure to position it with the button on top, and the height high so it beams above the charger when input. This puck is super bright, perfect for dim and darkness. Itโs been mounted for over a couple months, driving though bumps and rain, stays attached. So much easier than trying to maneuver a flashlight around as Iโm trying to find the plug in full darkness. And if it falls off or someone steals it, compared to the $300 OEM part I can replace this around 150 times before losing money, not including the installation expenses of the OEM. I see someone else also figured out this solution for their PHEV and glad to see it, really ridiculous that vehicle manufacturers donโt automatically provide lights for this location.

Good but not great.
While these are generally waterproof for very light rain I will say if it's a heavy rain then they're going to rust internally and go bad extremely quickly. I use these for my rear license plate on my car because I have bad wiring in the door of my car and while these are super amazing when you first stick them on they do not generally last very long even if you're only turning them on and off for small trips at night. It could possibly be the heat killing them quicker but the first two I had on for about a month and they lasted great and then the next ones I put on one lasted a while while the other one died rather quickly and then the last last one was dead within roughly a week. When their first popped on they're amazingly bright and absolutely amazing for what I use them for but I do wish you could control the ability to put in a new battery. These are fully sealed units you would have to physically break open the plastic housing to a place the battery which means it would just wind up full of water because there's no way to reseal the housing. These are a one-time use situation you cannot charge them and you cannot replace the batteries. The sticky backing I will say!! These things are ON THERE as long as you clean the surface when you adhere them. I even washed my car and they held firm the entire time.

Just what I needed
They're perfect for what I needed but they took forever to get here. The vendor used the mail strike as an excuse but they were shipped and received at the shipper one month before the strike started. Then took another two months to get here after the strike was over.
