I purchased several of these to lock some large gates that I have. One came with the shaft (that inserts into the lock) already snapped off and since my purchase 2 more of them have also broken, in the same place. I've recently ordered some from a different company as replacements.

The lock works fine, but the bike mount doesn't. The lock keeps coming off if you just push it into the mount. You'll have to use two hands, one hand wiggles the lock into the hole while the other hand presses and holds the little knob, then release it before you can feel it clicks into position. However, my lock still got lost on the road within two weeks after it dropped off from the mount. So if you plan to use the bike mount, better look for something else.

I love those locks, very easy to set and very durable. I have 4 on my chain link fence gates since I don't trust bolts, and 1 on my mountain bike.

Exactly as advertised. Works like a charm, though a bit difficult to straighten out. Heavy, solid protection for anything attached!

Cord is very strong, never have to worry about someone stealing with this baby on.
