When it comes to content, this is an excellent release, it is Hawkwind! However, that said, essentially what we have is a compilation and the chosen tracks appear on many other compilations, there are a couple that are almost identical. The tracks are from the Weird Tapes which serious Hawkwind fans will have, they are required listening!It's relatively cheap but rather than this, I'd recommend either Hawkwind Anthology 1967-1982 (Castle Communications) or Hawkwind Anthology 3CD Set (Castle Communications), both these I'm sure include everything on Hawkwind 77 and more.Revisited Nov 2018 - With the prices of the Weird Tapes continually increasing, buying this isn't a bad idea. It's a relatively cheap cd and has the majority of the first 3 Weird Tape volumes included. As already said, it is marvelous, essential stuff.

another dodgy compilation of all the usual suspects. this time the cd makers have pilfered the late 70s catalogue. all this stuff has been released about a million times before. avoid . stick to the 1st 5 classics and warrior when it is finally reissued.... and the atomhenge issues. cheers

ALL these trax are from the wierd tapes 1, 2 and 3 (get those instead) also the trax are randomly jumbled up too. At least on the wierd tapes tracks from the same live performance are sequenced together!!!really poor effort - avoid
