I am a gymnastics enthusiast and the type of rope you use makes all the difference in the kind of work out you are looking for. The standard manilla rope is a solid rope for climbing in all enviroments; however, it has a tendency to tear up your hands. When you are a climbing enthusiast like me, you don't want to cut your workout short simply because you have that problem. The poly-dac rope is the perfect rope for athletes who want to take their climbing game to the next level. First, the rope is softer (not more slippery as I assumed when I first tried it out) and so it is easy on the hands. It requires a bit more strength than the manilla, but that's the whole idea! Get stronger with minimal wear and tear. If you are looking for a backyard rope for a tire swing, I would not recommend this, as it shows dirt pretty easy. I'd recommend this rope only for indoor gyms, though I have seen people use them outdoors. They just don't look too pretty anymore after a few weeks. Hope this helps!

The sizing is perfect, it holds up outside, it's a serious workout. You're gonna need a tall ladder. I happen to have a family friend who runs a business where he had a 20+foot ladder... without that you're gonna be hard pressed to get it up into a tree to loop through itself (it's pretty heavy).The weave and quality of the rope appears good. Not hard on the hands.

Great rope. Put it outside on a large tree branch and attached a circular seat. It now doubles as an awesome rope swing and a climbing rope! Kids love it. We train and play.

Great climbing rope and awesome price. My son slid down the rope and got rope burn. Don't do that!!
