We bought a pair of these to use inside our bee suites. They are built with inexpensive materials, but for what we are using them for they are perfect. Very light, and the mesh lets air move through, even inside our bee suit veils.

Perfect Pitch helmet. I got so many compliments recently on my 20 year old one that i bought this as a back up. It's very nice. Darker color than most Pith helmets, which is cool. And I've somehow begun to speak with a British accent....but only when I'm wearing the hat!

I had fears of getting something that was just a step above cheesecloth that was pressed into shape with some spray starch. It is sturdy, fits my huge melon of a head and is adjustable! It even comes with a sweat cloth to help stay cool! I was worried that something this good couldn't be so reasonably priced, but am glad I took the chance.

Quality of hat is great. I bought two for halloween costumes for my husband and me. He has a adult size large head, I am a child's size large. The adjustable band works for both of our heads. Hats arrived quickly in perfect condition in a sturdy box.

I bought this hat to wear while doing yardwork, because it has a wide brim to protect my face from the sun, the straw allows it to breathe in the summer heat, and because it's a pith helmet, it offers some protection from bumps on tree branches. Very comfortable and fits well due to adjustable headband.

The shell is OK, but the retention system is a stretchy foam plastic that allows the helmet to slide around. I didn't expect much for the price but was hoping for more. I should have returned it but got so frustrated on first use, I tossed it in the nearest waste bin.

These hats worked great for our jungle research center during our VBS classes. And now we are enjoying them in the yard as we garden and take care of things. Keeps the sun off face and neck.

I'm way more impressed with this hat than I expected. I just needed it for a halloween costume, but it's actually pretty sturdy. The headband is actually pretty comfortable, and adjustable with velcro. Like a baseball cap. Pleasantly surprised
