DOA-selfie stick never charged or worked
I ordered this selfie stick 5 days before a trip we were taking. It arrived on the date expected. I plugged it in for charging prior to use and it didn't seem to be charging with the USB cord that came with the stick. We ended up using our own charging cord which then had the stick light up red while it was charging. After charging for 5 hours I unplugged it and nothing happened. No light, no sync, nothing....I was so disappointed. I will be sending this back and now I need to buy another selfie stick and have it shipped next day in order to get it before our trip. I am giving this product 1-star since we never got the chance to actually use it.

I first received order in a timely manner. Charged product overnight (Red LED at mini USB port) and it would not turn on at power switch. If I left it plugged into the charger and pressed the on/off switch I could see it turn on by the switch turning blue (blue LED on/off switch). As soon as I unplugged from charger I got nothing. I returned the order for a replacement. I received the reorder replacement in a timely fashion. The second unit would not even turn on while charging. Red LED comes on to charge but would not turn on after charging over 12 hours.Two units Dead On Arrival (DOA). Time for a refund and try something else.

Like other reviews state, very sturdy. That's why I chose this item. Wife loves it!Update 7/16/16...New review, my wife barely used this device (maybe 4 times total) in the past 6 mths and it just broke when she went to charge it. Don't buy it.

I have tried several selfie sticks before this one. A couple weren't bluetooth and one of the others was bluetooth but I always seemed to have a hard time pairing it when using it. This Gnome Workshop Bluetooth Foldable Selfie Stick with Shutter Button is awesome! It paired so fast and now when I turn it on it's already all ready to go! I love that it folds nice and tight into a pocket-sized stick AND even better, all kinds of phones fit in it. I know it's not supposed to matter, but it's adorable because it's pink too! I recently took this Selfie Stick on vacation with me to visit dear friends. We all loved how easy it was to capture great photos and even take videos of all of us without one of us having to do all the work.I will definitely be taking this Selfie Stick along with me whenever I go on group runs, parties, or even road trips, family vacations, or group outings.This Gnome Workshop Selfie Stick is very lightweight, and its so compact that it fit in my purse and my backpack, and even fits in my front pocket. It also has a nice small wrist strap that you can use to carry it, and it comes with the charging cable and the very simple instruction manual. This selfie stick is very well made, durable and extends to 31.4". And it does not bend from the weight of your phone, camera or mini-tablet. I also love that it comes with a 1 year hassle free warranty. I was provided with this product without cost in exchange for my honest review and unbiased opinion, but I honestly recommend it over any of the other selfie sticks I've previously owned!

Feels Cheap and Doesn't Work With Phone
I was expecting a lot out of this selfie stick because I have another one that works perfectly with no problems. However, this one has had problems straight out of the box.First, it is not able to connect to my Samsung Galaxy S3. When I go to connect it together it tells me to put in a password to the stick itself. Yeah, that isn't going to happen. It should automatically pick it up and connect with no problems, as my other selfie sticks didn't have this problem.Second, the colored parts of this selfie stick isn't anything but plastic that keeps trying to come off no matter what I do. The bottom of the stick is what I am talking about. I haven't even connected the wrist strap because I am afraid the weight of the stick is going to break it off because it feels that flimsy.Right now I am not happy with this selfie stick and that is why it is only getting three stars from me right now. I am going to work with it a bit more and see if there is anything I might be doing wrong. If there is, which there could be, I will come back and update this review. However, right now I am not recommending this selfie stick, because I know I can get better one else where and at a better price.

Does not work
I received this Gnome Selfie Stick free for review. When I took it out of the package it seemed to be great quality. It's very sturdy and holds the phone well. So I tried pairing it with phone and it would not work. I thought it may need to be charged. So I put it on the charger and checked it a couple hours later and now it will not turn on.
