Great Workout for Golf Conditioning
This is my 2nd purchase of this Book / DVD. I purchased it for my pro instructor who has new interest in fitness. This workout is great from so many aspects of golf fitness. It is separated into sections targeting areas like, shoulder cuff, core, power enhancement, etc. As are result, each workout can be tailored to target areas and time allotted. I wish they had more books and DVD's available!

The best I have found
This is a great book for golf because all the exercises are geared towards golf. The DVD shows you which part of your swing benefits from a particular exercise. Buy it and take your game to a higher level. Also, it will minimize golf related injuries.

Great value
A comprehensive tool for building the physical part of your game. The "golf-specific exercises on the DVD are very helpful. All in all, quite a bargain.Note that the reviews listed prior to June of 2007 are for a different book, one that is now out-of-print.

Excellent Golf Specific Fitness
This book is excellent & has the most up to date exercise techniques for golfers. The DVD is also very helpful so you can actually see the exercises being done.

Nothing new
Although comprehensive there is notheing new here. Core Perfomance for golf is probably better organized and of a higher quality. It is distracting when one of Complete Conditioning's demonstrators looks so enemic. Play Golf forever also offers more detailed workouts.

Comprehensive, but flawed?
I have nothing further to add to the higher rated reviews, what they say is all true; I just don't think it deserves more than 3 stars. here's why.I think this is more of a sport-science book - useful to instructors or personal trainers - than a guide for consumers. This is a comprehensive reference book with plenty of exercises. They are well explained and they also explain why you are doing them. The problem is that several of them require equipment that you wouldn't have at home. The other is that you will want someone else to check your form & posture on some of them. The other problem is that you can now get plenty of advice like this (or better), for free, from Titleist Performance Institute. The majority of their exercises use standard, readily available equipment like gym balls or your body weight so it's suitable both in or out of a gym.If you really want to understand the role of your muscles, balance, and conditioning in the game of golf, get this book.I can also recommend the Dynaband Golf conditioning pack. This is effectively a mobile gym and has a great golf-specific workout guide inside. And the bands can be used for any exercise, including stretches, not just those given in the book.
