Love Maxick material
Love Maxick material, this one isn't quite so useful for me. Most of it is details on old timey stongman weight lifts that most don't do anymore under names no one uses. Perhaps modern weight lifters or strongmen would get more out of it, I just do bodybuilding basics to keep strong and healthy and aren't interesting in conniving how to lift a barbell over my head one handed then switch it to the other hand. The basic idea is to do muscle control so that one can charge up only the muscles involved in sequence to generate the lift while keeping other muscles relaxed. Glad to read it though.

Mind Over Body
All physical strength ultimately comes from the mind and this book shows you how to develop that power. This was a pioneering book in the field and published long before the latest scientific evidence confirmed that fact. The strongest man in the world cannot raise his right arm if put in a hypnotic trance and told that he can't do it and yet weak grandmothers can lift cars off of their grandsons under the influence of hysterical strength. It's all in the mind.Since this book was written controlled scientific research has proven that you can even develop strength without moving a muscle and just by visualizing it.A great companion to this book is "Isometric Power Revolution" by John E. Peterson which futher develops the concept and includes the latest research.
