flawless
I bought this cd on the back of listening to Timewriter on the buzzinfly radio show.On first hearing a few tracks are very prominent especially 10 'revealing the sound'.A twisted thumping bassline which progresses into a hynotic beat and then eventually the sublime vocals. Its haunting and truly brilliant. This cd is quite simply untouchable.Like the buzzinfly vol 1,2,3 its very inventive and way superior to any other dance cd of this genre. If you like your dance deep then this is for you.

Sublime
Despite its recent renaissance, few deep house albums have come close to matching the brilliance exemplified in The Timewriter's Soulstickers. I have been listening to this album on and off since its release and it continues to sound fresh at any time of the day. A simply sublime collection of true deep house tracks with that all important element of funk. A must have for any fan of the genre. Five stars.

Deep house for the soul
i Absolutely love this album. All sublimely produced deep house, with a nice mix of vocal and non-vocal tracks. sticking to his guns the timewriter has crafted one head noddin funky bastard of an album without the slighest whiff of self-indulgence and what may be refreshing to some but not to others an absence of minimal tracks. For me track 4 and 6 are standout tracks, but each track has its own appeal and there are no tracks that for all its instrumental content sound samey. A worthwhile purchase and equally suitable for when you want to chill/wash the pots/have a few pre-going out on the tiles drinks....suits any mood!I awarded this album 5 stars based on the fact that no matter how many new albums i buy i always end up coming back to this one and finding elements of tracks that i never noticed before. An album almost entirely without fault

Absolut empfehlenswertes Album!!! Nach den Vorgängern wie "Jigsaw Pieces" überzeugt auch dieses Album meiner Ansicht nach mit unvergleichbarem schönen Deep House Sound a la The Timewriter. Anspieltipp: "Flicking Pages"

One of the best ever
When I first heard this back in 2007, it literally floored me. I felt like I went on a binge and listened to the album nonstop at least 50 times and it still hasn't gotten old. It was the first album I had heard by Timewriter, and since then, I have listened to this rest. I still think this album is the best by far. Early on in this album, the mixture of different styles (seems like a mix of deep/tech/prog house) flow wonderfully and keep the energy up in the album. At about the 40 minute mark, he slows it down into some nice deep house with tracks like mary's wisdom and night train, two of my favorites on the album. It is honestly hard to choose a favorite track on this album because I think they are all great, but choosing this album as a favorite was not hard.
