My husband lives in the gym. I love that he is so committed and I try to do what I can to support him. So for his birthday this year, I wanted to get him something nice that he could use at home. He’s always talking about working on his triceps, so I looked for a good suggestion online for some home gym equipment that would be good for this purpose. When I found this triceps bar on Amazon, I thought it would be perfect. I’m so glad that I got it. He absolutely loves it. It arrived in great condition. The chrome finish was flawless. I would note that the ends of the bar needed to be tightened a little bit, which you can do with a large Allen wrench. The bar is really solid and holds Olympic size weights very nicely. It can certainly withstand more weight than my husband will ever be able to lift. The grip is knurled and provides plenty of traction. He says it does not slip at all in his hands when he’s using it. Overall, I’m really pleased with the quality and functionality of this bar. I definitely recommend it as an excellent value for the money.

It is a good size (not to big). it has good weight to it and it is built well. I didn't have any signs of irregularities. The grip on the handles are good, but i put gauze grip tape on the handles because the original grip was a little too much for my hands. However this might not be a problem for you. Also it comes with caps on the ends to hold the plates on i like those as well. They are easy to take on and off, but you do have to loosen them to get them on and off they are not the ones that you squeeze to take on and off. So to rap this up in a nutshell the triceps bar is a good one it does what its suppose to and is well built.....hope this was helpful...gl2u!!!

Solid, heavy bar that is great for triceps extensions and bicep curls. It's heavy (22 ish pounds) with heavily textured grips, but not too textured that it rips up your hands. Quality is good - no issues with welding or craftsmanship that others reported. Mine did not come with the clips so I need to contact the company about that - I have others so not a deal breaker but would be nice to have. Does what its supposed to do and should last a lifetime.

I really like this new piece of equipment. It shipped fast and arrived in good condition. The product description listed the weight of the bar but I was still pleasantly surprised by the feel of it. The olympic sleeves do pivot to help reduce strain and it comes with a couple of collars which seem to work fine. I'll probably just use spring collars since they are faster to get on and off. The hand grips are textured but I usually tape up my bars anyway, so that was not a big deal to me. Not much else to say. Slap some weight on and go!

Overall works as it should and feels like is well built. I would have given it 5 stars but the quality control should be higher as I was jabbed by a piece of metal, I will attach a photo to show it. Luckily I was wearing gloves and it did not make contact with my skin. For the price this is a great buy but I would have liked the quality of finish to be better.

I've worked out for most of my life and used just about every type of equipment known to man. This item seems to be the real deal. A solid piece of useful equipment that a person needs to round out their home gym. Triceps bars are great for skull crushers, forearm work, etc. The bar seems to be well made, welded correctly and should provide a lot of heavy use/abuse. And for the price, it can't be beat.

I'm very happy with this bar. It is solidly constructed and weighs about 23-25 pounds and comes with collars to hold plates on it. I've used it for hammer curls, tricep extensions, forearm/wrist exercises, military press and bent over rows. If you haven't used a bar like this before, be careful with how much weight you put on it at first as the positioning and range of motion it creates were different that what I was used to. But, it hits muscles from a different angle than an easy curl bar and your stabilization muscles will have to adjust, hence why I was going light at first to get used to it. Otherwise it's great and is compact and fits in a small space. Great addition to my home gym.

Poor welding and hand grips were off by a half an inch....also came with 1 collar and 2 screws. Contacted body solid and they said sounds like I got a replica.
