Men's Genuine Leather Belt Designer Belts for Men Ratchet Dress Belt 35mm Wide with Automatic Solid Buckle in A Fashion Box

This is my first belt of this kind and found just by accident. Did not come with instructions though I doubt that I would have read them if it did. There are instructions in the description when you buy it. I read quit a few reviews that were negative and even some where they had to cut the belt off because they could not work the mechanism. Here are some thoughts from me: figure out how to unlock the mechanism BEFORE putting on! I found this to be quite easy though I do recommend pulling on the end of the belt to loosen the tension on the ratchet, the mechanism frees very easily if you do this; when there is tension on the ratchet the mechanism holds very firmly which is good as you don't want it coming loose during your day. The buckle is heavy though this is a plus for me as I equate this to quality and so far it seems to be of very good quality. The belt is leather the grips for the ratchet are not, which makes sense to me. The belt its self seems just fine, basic belt. Be VERY CONSERVITIVE when cutting the belt I almost cut it too short right off. Also many did not understand that you REMOVE the buckle and cut from THAT end and then re-attach the buckle to the cut end. The polish on the buckle is very nice, time will tell how durable it is. I do not have a need for a 2nd belt though when I do need another one this will be the one I replace with.

This belt looks nice but has very, very poor functionality. The problem is every time I move around while golfing the lock slips. I would avoid this belt if doing any type of activity like golf. It also had some peeling after my first game.

The belt failed to work exactly one year after purchase. Its a great idea and I loved it right up to the day it wouldn't catch.

Hard to get to release at first but once broken in it’s a great belt.

The black of the buckle is so faded and dull. The brown is light brown - wanted a darker shade.
