Exactly as descibed! Keeps my phone dry!
I just received my dry bag and tested it in the pool today- works exactly as described- keeps my phone dry and safe and allows me to take pictures in the water. Very excited about this purchase because now I can take my phone to the beach, too! The only downside so far is that my phone (Iphone 4) goes down a little too far in the bag, so to take pictures, I need to wiggle it up a bit so the camera is not obstructed. Its not a big deal for me but this is not a dry bag that will fit your phone "like a glove", rather there is extra space so the phone will move a bit. For me, this is a ++ because I can throw my debit card and DL in there and everything comes snorkeling or on the water-slide with me! One last little bonus is the armband. I will absolutely use this feature- especially when swimming.Giving 4 stars only because of the camera thing, and because I haven't run it through its paces yet to see if it will last.

Love it and great value too
This worked as advertised. I bought 4 of these before my trip to Trinidad & Tobago because I wanted to find a solution that would allow me to bring my iPhone to the beach without having to remove the case I already own and swap another one. I was a little worried at first taking my iPhone 6 to the beach (even though I had tested the case in the sink at the hotel as suggested). When I finally got the nerve to to take it into the water and crashing waves I kept checking it to make sure there was no leak. Everything was fine. Kept my phone safe, was able to take photos and video under the water. I didn't go scuba diving so I test to the depth claims they make but I will try it next time I do. I don't have to leave the phone at the hotel or car anymore. Even if you don't go in the water it will keep sand away (just as bad as water for electronics). When I got back to hotel, I rinsed it with fresh water and dried before opening it and all was fine. I also put my cash in it so I didn't have to take the wallet to the beach and worry it would get wet. Great value too.

Not for Runners
The case was great for keeping my phone dry, but I have had a few issues with this case and armband. My first issue is that the armband is very narrow. Because the armband is so narrow, it tends to let the phone pivot around. The armband ended up ripping off after three months of moderate use. This case and armband is not for active people such as runners, triathletes, or calisthenics practitioners. I bought this armband to be able to take my phone with me for open water swimming, and it actually ripped apart even before the weather got warm enough for me to try it out. If you plan on using this case and armband for any kind of rigorous activity, you should look elsewhere. I've ordered a Lifeproof case and armband because I'm having to use duct tape to hold the armband on right now.My other issue is that the thermometer never worked. That never really mattered for me though because I check the weather before I do any kind of outdoor activity. I never tested the thermometer in a lake to test out how accurately it measures water temperature, but it was typically about 20 degrees off for air temperature. Those issue aside, my phone always stayed dry even when the phone was completely submerged in water while swimming in a pool.

Very easy to swipe on the plastic skin
I just got this bag couple days ago, I put a piece of toilet tissue inside the bag, sealed it and got it submerged under water by putting a hammer over it overnight. The toilet tissue turned out completely dry. So it is definitely water-proof. Later I put my Iphone 5s inside it and tried all the functions of the phone. it worked seamlessly, I was worried about the swiping function, but it turned out prefect. Very easy to swipe on the plastic skin. I took a few pictures and I could not tell the photo was shot inside the bag. I like it and I intended to use it with my upcoming Maui vacation .

Happy kid=happy mom!
Company was amazing. Was an item for vacation I purchased for my phone before taking my young son camping, fishing and swimming. But decided at the price I had to order another for a birthday present for his iPod. The company replaced his product because a small piece was missing which wouldn't give it a good seal. We've never "dunked" our stuff in water to really try them out but we did use them quite a bit when fishing and exploring in the creeks/lakes in the Poconos, so they did see some water. The company wrote a cute little note inside to my son saying they were sorry and wished him a great b-day :) not only the note a nice gesture but they threw in another item in a different color. Was not expecting that at all! Very thankful for the great customer service.I will order from you guys again shall I need anything in the future. Thanks again and keep up the great CS :) happy kid=happy mom!

Some water droplets as well as sand do get on the inside of the plastic clasps areas but a quick clean up is fine. Not sure abou
First tested it in pail of water at home- put some paper towels inside pouch - and check to make sure it's leak proof (but have to weigh it down with something heavy to submerge the pouch-otherwise it just stays on top and floats)..and then the real test - had my phone and some money in pouch and tested swimming with it in pool and then, in the sea. Still no water leak. Just note even with the phone inside the pouch, it floats and doesn't get weighed down. Maybe in the future, I will test it when I go scuba diving-just didn't get to do it this trip. Some water droplets as well as sand do get on the inside of the plastic clasps areas but a quick clean up is fine. Not sure about the temp reading dial as it stays at 70s all times. However, overall I am happy with it.

Some trouble with it.
I bought this dry bag to take pictures underwater with my iPhone 5. The bag worked great at keeping my phone dry, but I couldn't operate the phone's camera while underwater. I can operate the camera out of water while in the dry bag, but not under water. Therefore, I had to turn off my phone auto lock and have it already set to camera mode, then use the volume controls on the side of the phone to activate the camera shutter. I figured out a way around the problem but it would have been nice to have know this before buying the dry bag.
