If you have older closet bars with larger diameters, these may not be for you.
I bought these for my guest coat closets in case they had an aura or reality of better quality than the Amazon basics. Although the build is slightly cleaner, other differences are hardly visible. However, even though the hooks on the LTs and the Amazon basics look the same, the LT hooks did not fit the older (circa 1935) bars with larger diameters in some closets. They were hard to get on and even harder to get off.

Beautiful and functional, at a great price!
Like most people, we have hundreds of hangers of all types - cheap plastic ones came with clothes, wire hangers from the dry cleaners, and a few nicer ones we bought for my husband's suits. I use the nicer hangers to protect the shoulders of his suits and hang his pants together with the jackets. I would love to have a closet full of beautiful matching hangers for all of our clothes, but even at Walmart a good quality wooden hanger is $2.50-$3.50. So we make do with a bunch of functioning but mismatched hangers.These LT Hanger solid wood, natural finish (they look like pine but are finer grained) hangers are beautiful and well made, and look much more expensive than they are. The hardwood base is satin smooth so it won't snag your clothing. The polished chrome hook can be rotated 360 degrees, so all your clothes and hooks face the same way (I'm obsessive about that). The upper bar has notches to hold straps from thinner clothes so they don't slip off, and the inner bar is perfect for hanging slacks or for keeping a folded skirt together with a top. The inner bar is slightly textured to prevent slipping, but is still perfectly non-snagging.The best part is that they are $1.79 apiece and come in a convenient 20-pack with free 2-day Prime shipping.
