I open and close it 2 times per day and after 60 days the rubber portion on the tips has deteriorated and fallen off. This is to be expected but since my use was light duty I did not expect this to happen so quickly. Regardless, the rest of the clamp still works as new so I am satisfied with its performance to date. If I needed to replace the rubber pieces they are readily available. ### ⭐⭐ Poorly Made *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2016* If you are looking for clamps that won't damage what they hold, I would look elsewhere. The vinyl coating on these is incredibly thin. It is also coming off on most of the tips, and a few already have tears in them (see the picture). They will work for my intended use of securing garbage bags and temporary signs, but I would never trust them on something that I wasn't willing to damage. In short, these are well below the quality of the clamps you typically find at hardware stores. ### ⭐ One Star *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2016* China junk --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/17657627-12-pc-6-heavy-duty-metal-spring-clamps](https://www.desertcart.be/products/17657627-12-pc-6-heavy-duty-metal-spring-clamps) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
