12 pc. 6" Heavy Duty Metal Spring Clamps

I clamp it to the top of a 40 pound bag of dog food to keep it from unraveling, like a clip on a bag of chips. I open and close it 2 times per day and after 60 days the rubber portion on the tips has deteriorated and fallen off. This is to be expected but since my use was light duty I did not expect this to happen so quickly. Regardless, the rest of the clamp still works as new so I am satisfied with its performance to date. If I needed to replace the rubber pieces they are readily available.

If you are looking for clamps that won't damage what they hold, I would look elsewhere. The vinyl coating on these is incredibly thin. It is also coming off on most of the tips, and a few already have tears in them (see the picture). They will work for my intended use of securing garbage bags and temporary signs, but I would never trust them on something that I wasn't willing to damage. In short, these are well below the quality of the clamps you typically find at hardware stores.
