Well made, the beads only move around if you want them to. I will be using them to practice land nav.

to start, I've enjoyed waking since I was young, having had a half-mile walk to the school bus daily and that road being a beautiful one. and the romance of overland navigation and orienteering have always drawn me. so that's me. from there:This is an excellent simple thing. The beads are sufficiently snug to not move except by your intention. I drop a bead at every 100 paces, then a secondary bead at every 10 of the others... so this little thing will count 5000 steps for me before it needs resetting, and all I have to do is keep counting to 10, 10 times. The meditation of it is wonderful, and the practical application - you have to do a little personal research on a known length of Road, Trail, Woodland, to learn your steps-to-mile counts on assorted terrains - is invaluable. Especially if your monkey mind is like mine, and has a hard time keeping track of numbers higher than 10.If you're interested, buy 2 of them for when you cannot find the one you were using last time; They'll bring you far more value over the coming years than that last time you ordered takeout for the same price.

Why reading is important even when you’re in a hurry. It’s a well made bracelet. It actually fits my husband’s huge wrist that NOTHING fits. And therein lies the problem. It falls off mine. I failed to read the big bold title that stated 13 inches. Duh 🙄. Now ordering the 8 inch that may still be a touch too big but that won’t likely fall off. Although I know how to use this kind of low tech navigation device (12 years in the Army) I actually bought it to count cups of water and coffee. It reminded me of the lanyards we used to make and exchange. I’m giving the original to my Navy husband. He’s a smart man who was in the Navy for 8 years and will figure it out eventually. Go Army 😘

Perfect and colorful way to count laps at the pool. Simply dangle it off a chair by the edge of the pool, and toggle a bead down after finishing each lap. Has 9 beads on one side and 4 on the other.

Works as intended.After using these I now have to give this one star instead of five.As you can see by the photo the cheap plastic clip broke. Once it broke the beads fell off somewhere….Update #2. After emailing the seller they are sending another set out as they have a year warranty.Will update again once I receive the replacement.Update #3 after contacting customer service and receiving my new pace beads I must say they have excellent customer service!! They not only replaced my product but also put a metal clip on this set so I could not lose them again.I would highly recommend this product. Also as this is a vet run and made by vet’s business I would like to make a special shout-out and thank them for their service to our country!!

Very, very well made. I'm extremely happy with this product. I'm not using it to track my walks, although I will probably probably buy the product again to do so. I'm actually using it to track the amount of water that I drink, as I just lose track and definitely want to set myself up to drink a specific amount every day. This does that perfectly. Beads are tight, and it performs just as it should, and I have very good confidence in the product. Happy to support a veteran-owned company being a veteran myself!

Bought for search and rescue. Cute color. Handy. East to slide beads. Wish top had more beads. We count in 20 meter increments. So every 5 beads is 100m.
