I used it to control a millivolt gas fireplace. The only thing that kept from this being 5 stars is the only examples shown were line powered lights and the limitations of the Smart Life app. The app requires your phone and the module be on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to setup. Our AT&T router uses the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. I had to log into the router and disable the 5 GHz band so my iPhone would be on 2.4 GHz while setting up the module. Once it was working it still worked fine once I turned the 5 GHz band back on. Once it worked withe the Smart Life app it was easy to add it to Alexa using the Amazon Alexa app on my phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome *by E***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2020* Just what I needed to make my ceiling lamp a smart light. I had originally planned on using a smart switch, replacing on of the three-way switches. Unfortunately, my house wiring did not support that option. My wiring has the power cable going to the light, and a second wire going to the switch. This means the switch location has neither a neutral nor a line wire. Using the Smart WiFi Switch Relay in the lamp works. Installing the wiring was easy. Adding the switch to my WiFi was fairly easy; the instructions are not very good so patience is and trial and error is needed. Once it was installed the switch worked well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Running on an extender with sporadic results. Bit of a science project. *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2020* Will be using to control a relay that turns a pond Fountain on at dawn and off at dusk. I selected this device because I can still use my manual override when the fountain pump needs maintenance. I have not set up automation in my smart home app for a while so took me a while to figure out how to configure. Currently I am still testing using a test light and switch that will ensure all is working before using it on my pump. My experience with the test setup has been a little sporadic at dawn when the switch should turn on. One time the unit went off line and had to power reset it to get it back on line. The second time it did not turn on at dawn even though the smart life app said it was successful. Still testing. My be partly due to the distance from the switch to my router. The switch is in my garage and the router is in the opposite end of my house. I use a WiFi extender in my garage that the switch is connected too and the signal for the extended sometimes is weak.
