Really useful if you like variety, sturdy, no complaints
For bees’ wax, and esssential oils of course:If you get a decent mix, or different types of wax / oil etc., this is great. The little ones you see commonly hold about 2-3 grams of bees wax or hardened caramel shatter depending on the density of it, and even the most brittle stuff tends to take the shape of its container. By contrast, those are like one of the mid sized dishes in this. The two largest dishes are big, they can easily hold 15+ grams worth of your honey, probably more like a full ounce if you stuffed it, meaning you can fit two just in those. Most people that collect high-grade bees wax can’t or don’t regularly get so much given the cost, but the option is there. Depending on how you collect, the large disges may be good or bad. Certainly there could be a lot more small-mid sized ones in their place, though already there’s so many options:(All 3/4” deep)The 2 large - 1 3/4” diameter2 mid - ~1.1” diameter4 small - ~ 1/2” diameterThe small ones are pretty thin, not my first choice to store stuff, but good if you have a little left of your favorite batch of honey, etc. For most people, just the 4 provided that are mid-large gives you the capacity for a decent amount of 4 varieties- you can split up the big ones, but some wax tends to melt and mix - you may or may not care about this. For travel, it’s too much.. I stick w a Dr. D portable nail (for extracting the honey) and a small 1” type silicone container if traveling. At home though, it’s great, and if you keep your own bees or have a friend or associate that does and often changes variety, you can keeptrack, comparee, save a really tasty one, etc. IMO it’s a shame to let them memt together. The dabber isn’t bad either. Idk why it has the silicone ends, I guess to protect in transit? They come right off. I personally use a cap w/ one attached, and really think that’s the only way whether you have a traditional setup or an electronic system (for extracting the honey through the vapors it creates, you know), since it allows cooler temperatures and a smoother extraction, where if it’s not smooth it can get in your lungs and cause a lot of coughing. If you find that you are, use a cap and lower the temp, your bees will thank you.By far my favorite wax holder. Running out of soace on these is. good problem to have.

A bit flimsy but about as good as it could be. I guess...
The lid is a bit flimsy but I don't think there is much that could be done about that because of the size. Overall this is a decent container that holds more than most. The 2 larger compartments hold about 1 ounce of material each and the medium 2 will hold about a half ounce each. The other smaller holes are really not that useful and lend themselves better for tool holders and not storage compartments (they are too deep for how skinny they are and you cannot see whats in the bottom because of their width). It is more suited to be used as a stationary thing and not well suited for travel because the lid does not seal the top down and if tilted while travelling the contents would spill over and make a mess. the lid is too easy to remove as well for this to be considered anything other than a desk piece to be kept at home. Other than the lack of a proper heavy duty seal to make this into a travel rig I like it. It certainly does work as a more long term storage container as long as you don't plan on taking it with you somewhere you will like its size and feel.
