5x G4 Bipin Base 10 LED Disk Lamp - 12V AC DC Side Position, for Marine Boat, RV, Auto and DIY (Warm White)

Great LED alternative to the G4 halogen light bulbs that come in RV light fixtures with "side pins". The color is truly a warm white color with none of that bluish tint of other LED lamps. I really like that these LED lamps only use a little more than one watt rather than 10 watts or 20 watts. These are every bit as bright at the 20 watt halogens and produce far less heat which is especially nice during the summer. Makes a huge difference in battery life when not running the generator or hooked up to shore power. My one minor complaint with every LED G4 replacement has been the lack of a taper on the ends of the pins can make it a little difficult to install these into my fixtures. I noticed the original halogen bulbs have nice tapers on the ends of the pins and insert easily. These you will have to wiggle them around and push a little harder to get them in. Note: As these units work over a wide range of input voltages because of the active switching regulator built onto the reverse side of the PWB, these are NOT dimmable in the usual sense.

This is the second time I have ordered these lights. The first time I replaced 23 incandescent with them. That was 3 years ago. So far 3 have failed. For such a cheap light, I'd say that was pretty good

I bought these for our 5th wheel to replace the hot halogen bulbs that came with the trailer. They are a nice warm white as described. They do not put out as much light as the halogen, but then again they use only a fraction of the electricity and create no heat at all.
