Great Remote
It was a great solution. My old remote had stopped working. It works well. I have to be close to the speaker for the remote to work properly but at least it works. For the money it’s a good deal.

Remote control that won't control remotely!
You have to get so close for the controller to work that it's useless as a "remote" control. Update: Based on quite a few good reviews I got another one ... and it works perfectly. Definitely better than the one that came with the soundbar.

My review was for the AUTHENTIC Vizio remote not this universal one. **EDITED** Just like the ones that ship with the units
**EDIT** Seems my review is now tied to a universal remote. When I reviewed this item it was for the authentic Vizio remote. I have no idea how well this remote works. But since the Vizio ones seem to fail often(my replacement is already starting to act up), I may be trying this next.The remote that came with my sound bar just up and died one night. Jumped on here to get a quick replacement. Remote worked right out of the box and with Prime 2 days shipping; it was a quick replacement.

Paid for two of these, got one that marginally works......
This is a review for the second one of these I received as a replacement for the first remote. I returned the first one as it did not function at any distance of six feet or greater.Amazon sent a replacement unit, which works only slightly better than the first one, and I returned the first remote to Amazon about a month ago. Yesterday, Amazon charged me for the replacement unit they sent me, despite my returning the first unit through the Post Office, using the same packaging the second one was received in.So now I have purchased two of these crappy remotes but only to have one that marginally works. It seems as there is no recourse at this point, other than not buying this item....... which is what I would strongly recommend!
