I purchased this incubator because it had all the specs I wanted - including an automatic pumping system. Not only that, but IT CAME WITH A 2 YEAR WARRANTY THAT WAS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE! Definitely worth the price! When receiving the product, I was super happy with what I'd gotten! I set up everything to get ready to start warming up my incubator (making sure all the bells and whistles worked) and I stepped away for a few mins, came back and to my disbelief, my 10 week old German Sheperd puppy had chewed the cord that connects the APS to the incubator itself (damage featured in picture), I was distraught! I had gone online and set up my warranty (which is mandatory within the first 30 days after purchasing to access warranty benefits) and I called their customer service line to try to locate a replacement. I left a voice mail, and received a return phone with within 24 hours! And they sent me a replacement cord same day! No charge! THIS COMPANY IS AWESOME! Never been this satisfied with an desertcart purchase! Review: Highly Recommend if You Are Considering an Incubator, Much Better Than Brinsea - If you are considering hatching, I highly recommend this incubator. I also have a Brinsea with the auto rotation rack. But comparing the two, this has more accurate humidity and temperature reading and I don’t need to purchase separately the humidity pump and the turning rack. I also like that I just place the eggs in a slot with the Rcom and for the Brinsea, I have to place the egg with the air space up and the rack ALWAYS have space left so I need to put a sponge or stuff some paper towels at the end to stop the eggs from rolling around. The only thing I wish the Rcom people will consider is making an incubator that is slightly larger than 10 eggs capacity and have a better instruction book. It was trial and error to place the humidity tube. Maybe even a YouTube video instruction will help. Btw, the candling feature of this product is great, no more fumbling with the flash light to candle. I also have 100% hatch rate with this incubator after I discard the infertile eggs after 7-10 days. The chicks are healthy and no issues whatsoever, where as the Brinsea I have, I don’t have 100% hatch rate and I also noticed the Brinsea hatch can be days apart and Rcom hatch are all within 24 hours. I do believe it has to do with Rcom provides consistent humidity and temp control. Once you figure out the settings, everything is automatic, it knows to increase humidity at lockdown, it lockdown automatically. I had 10 viable hen eggs to hatch in my classroom. We watched the eggs develop as they would, but slowly they all began to die. Water was regulated. The humidity and temperature appeared to be normal. 6 chicks died within the shell before Hatch Day. 2 of the 4 that survived were disabled. Those poor two chicks could hardly walk and developed spraddle leg during the incubation process. Some say this may due to the lack of proper humidity during incubation, however, the humidity appeared normal. Some say it may be genetic. Either way, this was my first (and last) year to use this incubator. I have used other digital versions for 10 previous years with amazing success.
