The exorbitant price tag earned this otherwise good product, the three star rating
Works as well as any other external drive. Janome claims you cannot use a standard CD drive with their machines without possible damage to the machine. I'm doubting that. I guess they know that most new owners wouldn't take that chance, so we'll never know. Looks to me to be a $50 drive with a $400 price tag. The exorbitant price tag earned this otherwise good product, the three star rating.
