**Q: Would this work as a replacement for the laces on a motorcycle vest?**
A: I'm not familiar with the laces on a motorcycle jacket. If they stretch, this may work. If like shoe laces, then no, I don't think this will work. I used it for caps on a rifle scope, cord had to stretch putting them on and then pull tight.

**Q: Is this similar to elastic bands for hair?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can i use this to make a face mask for the string around the ear?**
A: I don't see why not. It's fairly stretchy. Not quite like a rubber band, but at least it's wrapped.

**Q: Would this work to secure outside of plastic bags to small waste baskets?**
A: I believe that would work.  There is enough of a stretch, so it would be nice and tight once around the basket.
