Hathorn Men's 110V Smoke Jumper Fighting Boot

I already have several pairs of Hathorn & Whites boots so I knew what I was getting into. (Whites makes Hathorn). Great quality boots! If the boots were made before 2017. Fortunately for me Amazon’s stock is still a couple of years old. My boots were purchased Dec. 2018 but were made in May 2016. In 2017 the quality of Whites & Hathorn boots went down hill. They were bought out by a Japanese company a few years ago. So there lies the problem. Quantity over Quality! Good Luck with your purchase.

I am optimistic but I am seeing a tiny bit of heel seperation after 1 week of use, maybe the nails will hold. Well see, they may be going back. If I have to send them back I will be getting a custom fit pair. Tired of fooling with the bullcrap boots.UPDATED:The heels are holding fine after a couple weeks I guess you have that tiny bit of space on a boot with stacked heels like this. I now recommend these boots. Break in was a pain but after they are awesome.

This boots were awesome for the fire season i had. They lasted and protected my feet.

Wear every day 8-10 hours on concrete in mud, gravel. Just keep clean and use lots of Neatsfoot oil. Month or 2 to break in

Some boots are comfortable from day one. The Hathorn Smoke Jumpers require some brake-in time, at least for me. Initial quality of the leather, eyelets, and sole seems good. I like the arch support and high heel. They are a good choice if you need a rugged boot for rugged conditions. If you want a sporty lightweight boot; these are not for you.

You simply can not buy a better boot for the money! Don't let the "rugged" look fool you,they walk like slippers. And if you have high arches???? Your feet are gonna love you for these!! AWESOME support!!

I've been wearing Whites products for over 30 years. The next time I'm disappointed with any of their products will be the first time! Not cheap but outstanding value.

Too big. Sizes are hard figure out. Normally wears men's 11 in shoes . This is second pair that needs to be returned unfortunately. The shipping cost not reimbursed .
