I just recently just purchased this Artlii Energon plus projector . This my first projector . It is Brilliant budget projector for the money . The build quality is very good , and it very easy to set up and use . I will use the Artlii Energon for mainly movie night .

This is the first home use projector I have purchased. With several weeks of lockdown I decided I needed something to allow me to watch the various theatre productions being streamed at the moment. For £149 I have no complaints as it allows me to watch on a 100 inch screen and make it feel more like being at the cinema watching.The lumen is not too bright so watching in daylight is a non-starter. It needs to be dark or black-out room to be able to fully enjoy the projection. Picture quality is often very dependent on quality of what I am watching. Films watched on Prime are noticeably better in terms of clarity versus YouTube and less likely to pixelate. Any shadows and streams of light (especially blue) are more likely to end up as a pixelated blur.That said, for scenes that are shot in daylight, and closeups of faces etc, the clarity is very good in the centre of the screen. You may need to adjust the colour, temperature and brightness to suit what you are watching, but it is very easy to go into menu and adjust.The sound is excellent and has a high volume, helping to drown out the fan noise which isn't the quietest. I have also connected the sound to a soundbar and woofer which worked fine. I am using an Apple TV plugged into one of the HDMI and this works very well as it gives me access to most media sources, as well as allowing me to mirror other stuff to the screen.Too early to comment on reliability. This is the 2nd projector I ordered. The first blinked for about a minute when first switched on and then blew itself up and tripped the electrics in the house. There may be better projectors out there for the price but impossible to know if the case. I would certainly recommend this one to friends if they are wanting something relatively cheap they can use in the evenings.

i decided to take a last chance on a cheap projector.blurry edges,bad focus.stiff focus ring and horrible brown hue on picture which no amount of adjustment can correct.

The overall quality of the projector is great, we can see the image reasonably well during daytime and very well when the room is dark. The edges of the image remain blurry and it is hard to distinguish forms when the image is very dark. We are very pleased with the product and think that the value for money ratio is great.Would recommend if you are looking for a reliable projector within that price category.

Excellent projector for those on a budget, anything less than £100 - don't bother. This however delivers an excellent image with the flexability to adjust size and orientation. Focus ring is a bit stiff but not a problem.

It’s not true 1080p. It’s probably 460.Lumens are probably in the range of 500 and the contrast Ratio doesn’t even reach 500. Very disappointed. Returned for a full refund.

So disappointing. The focus control was ridiculously stiff. Even at its extreme the picture was not fully focused. As a result, I had to psychically move the projector closer to the screen with the resulting loss of valuable inches. I returned it.

Good product for the price. Good value of videoes. Not too loud. Nice and modern look
