Stretchy, fits, stays on
The large fits my cat perfectly. She weighs 12 lbs and is approximately 14" from neck to tail. The stretch in this modal material allows her to move fairly easily, though it was a little awkward at first. It covers her incisions (due to a cystotomy surgery) completely, thus eliminating the need to wear a cone. I've had no problem with her getting out of it. I liked it so much, I bought another one. I highly recommend. And many thanks to whomever invented these clever onesies!!

perfect for after surgery
I ordered the size medium, they are about 5 pounds each, it's a little big but I think it might shrink some after I wash it. One of them got out of it but I tightened the neck and that seemed to remedy the problem. They actually seem to like it, no biting, chewing or scratching on it. They used the litter box and no residue was on it. Be sure to tighten the neck and position it so that the rear end is totally exposed. They tore that cone off after 1 hr, so this was perfect to protect them from infection and licking the area after being spayed.

Does as intended
Great PJ set, it does what it needs and protects my cat from licking her Incision. I will say though, even with getting the small and it fitting good. That top piece can loosen and she was able to escape the pj's.

GET THIS PRODUCT...THIS SAVED US BOTH!!! Can’t recommend enough! Got a size Medium (she is 6lbs) and fits great. Her body is a little longer, and thought it was maybe a tiny short for her body length, but was able to stretch it a little length wise and works amazing. My Lily Grace wiggled out of the vets hard cone as soon as we got home. Couldn’t figure out how to put that back on and it wasn’t worth the struggle knowing she would wiggle out again. I also bought the soft (flower) cone from Amazon prior to her spay surgery thinking it would be way better then the plastic rigid cone from the vet, but she wiggled out of that in minutes as well. I spent a sleepless first night one the floor watching her to make sure she didn’t get out and lick the incision site and trying to keep the soft cone on. But thank god for this recovery suit and Amazon next day delivery. Ordered that night and it arrived the following day around noon. It’s a really comfy light weight material with some stretch.Of course she was weirded out at first and flopped over a few times, but I just distracted her with her springs (also found on Amazon and great toy - she entertains herself with those) she got used to it quickly and doesn’t seem bothered at all. And thanks to this, I too got the rest I needed. This is leaps and bounds more comfortable than a restrictive cone. She is able to use the bathroom just fine. This was such a great find... highly recommend for any pet having abdominal surgery of any kind.

Nice little suit, which my cat hated with an uncontrollable fury
I got this in a desperate attempt to find a way to get my cat to stop licking all the fur (well, first fur, then skin) off her belly. The suit itself seems very nice - soft, stretchy, well designed with openings in the right places, and easy to put on. First time I put it on her, though, she clearly didn't like it - she walked around the house backwards for about 20 minutes, and rolled around on the floor, and rubbed up against all the walls and corners to try to get it off. Eventually she seemed to settle down and I thought she'd be okay, though she still looked pretty miserable, but after I went out for about an hour or so, I came back to find her happily walking around suitless. So, somehow she removed it on her own, I have no idea how. The next time I put it on her, she just wasn't having it - she refused to stand up, she thrashed around on the floor, and she meowed pitifully until I took it back off. I think all of these are caused more by features of the cat than deficiencies in the features of the suit, but thought that it was worth pointing out that it's not for everyone.

Great product!
If you decide to order this little outfit for your pet, order the size based on the measurements. Neck to tail, I think? There is a picture that the seller provides. I ordered based on weight, and my kitten that is slightly heavier should have fit into the large. It fit, but was a bit baggy and she got her back legs caught a few times. I decided to try the medium on her and it fit. It was a little more snug than the medium was on her sister, but the material is really stretchy, so it worked much better than the large, and she seemed much more comfortable. Just to clarify, the material is really stretchy, but it doesn’t get stretched out and baggy. One thing that I recommend is, before you put the outfit on your pet, tighten the drawstring for the neck and cut it, then tie the ends right away (they will fray if you don’t). How the drawstring is when you receive it is basically a loop. I was afraid that my kittens would get the loop caught on something and get strangled, so I cut it. I was still able to tighten the drawstring, there just wasn’t a loop at the end that could get caught on something. When I picked my kittens up at the vet they had put the cones on them. They were already in their cages so I didn’t see them, but when we got home and took them out of their cages I was not happy. Both of my kittens were fairly small, so I assumed the $10 cone would be small. I was really surprised at how big, bulky an heavy it was. Neither of them could walk with the cone. And the vet wanted them in the cones for two weeks. Right. So the cones came off. Of course they both started licking their incisions (they had gotten spayed) so I had to cover their incisions. I ended up cutting some fabric to wrap around them, but it wasn’t ideal. Luckily I was able to get these outfits in 2 days.Seriously, do yourself and your pet a favor and skip the cone. My kittens didn’t care for the outfits because they are crazy kittens that love to run around, things they are not supposed to do after surgery. With the outfits it kept them calm and quiet but at they could walk around and get themselves to their food and water, and the litter box.
