Avon Tiny Tillia Noah Ark Boat with 7 animals plush soft baby toddler

I received this as a gift for my son, and at first thought it was a great toy for him. Unfortunately after opening it I discovered there were two male lions instead of a male and a female. So I did what anyone would do, I took a pair of scissors to it. After removing the felt mane of one of the lions I realized the same stitches that were holding the mane also connected the bottom of the lions face to the rest of its head. So I also had to do a little sewing, but the fabric did a good job of hiding the stitches which was good. Now my son can play with a Noah's ark set that doesn't mislead him about lion anatomy or that Noah had a male and female of each animal in the ark.When I called Avon to inquire about whether or not it was a packing error to have two male lions I was assured that it was not, it was made that way. I was also informed the product has been discontinued, and assured that my comment would be forwarded so it can be considered in the future if they decide to make another Noah's ark set.Additionally the ark was creased on the side, possibly during shipping, and will not stand upright on its own. I placed a larger stuffed animal inside and now it stands up okay.
