Fingerprint magnet with unreliable Airplay and poor support
Update October 4th, 2017.- Stay away from this speaker no matter how discounted it is! The manufacturer is out of business. The ZenDesk support page and website is also gone. There is zero support for this item. The founder, Samuel Tan and CEO, Evan Foo should never be trusted to run a company. Promising speaker that was killed by terrible management.Original review Feb 9th 2017-Setup was more difficult than any of the other wireless or mesh wifi speaker systems that I have used. Sound is comparable to my Sonos Play 1 but with stronger bass and louder overall volume. Whether this justifies the much higher price is up to the buyer to decide. I bought this mainly to use with my iOS devices via Airplay. However, streaming music with Pandora led to frequent drops. I have a Libratone Zipp that also has airplay available that does not drop. I figure maybe a firmware update will help, but the iOS app firmware update does not work. I tried their support page which has instructions on how to manually update the firmware, but the link to download the latest firmware leads to a page not found error. Questions from users on the support page are also not answered. My firmware is v9816.111, the new firmware available on the iPhone app shows v9846.122. It just won't update properly. I would not recommend this device until these issues are addressed.

Powerful sound - but perhaps a little too powerful at times.
The Archt produces an impressive amount of sound for the package - and since it is omni-directional, I was expecting to love it.For my ears, the unit has bass that is too dominating - and treble that can become harsh at the extremes.In the end I chose different speakers - which are also around 2x the price - so the Archt performed well for its price.

Soundscape shmoundscape
It looks cool. But it's basically a mono-phone speaker, with a fiddly equalizer on your cellphone. As far as I can tell, "Complete 360º Sound Experience with our patented Sound Array Technology" means it blasts sound into all corners of the room (not a good thing, as far as I can hear), and "Dynamic Room Optimization through mobile app" means the equalizer. I'm hearing hype, not HiFi Stereo.

All I can say is HOLY CRAP!!!This speaker is absolutely AMAZING, i have heard speakers that cost 10 times as much that don't sound 1/10th as good!!!Words do not do it justice, buy it and listen to it...1 listen is worth a million words!!!

it connects easily and the sound experience is really awesome
As one of the early ARCHT One supporters, I have been using the ARCHT One to blast my music. The set up took me a while but it's probably only the first configuration that may take longer. Subsequently, whenever I try to connect to the ARCHT One, it connects easily and the sound experience is really awesome. Although it tends to be bulky and heavy, the audio quality is really great. Would recommend the ARCHT One if you are a fan of quality audio speakers.

Awesome sound!
Great speaker with an awesome sound; deep, rich base and crisp, clean highs. We like the fact that the speaker can easily be moved from our family room to our patio. Also made for a great solution for music at my daughter's high school graduation party!

Amazing Sound and easy set up
I was a Kickstarter member on this product. I received the speaker and had it set up using bluetooth in seconds. The sound is simply incredible ! It gives a presence that follows you around a room. The sound is clear and full and very accurate I would recommend this speaker without hesitation.
