CELLONIC, Battery for Navigation, compatible with Garmin Edge 810, Touring Plus, nüvi 2595LMT (3.7V, 1200mAh)

Arrived promptly and did the job.

This battery is intended for Garmin Edge 1000, however I found it would just fit it an Edge 810. It’s a dead fit and also might need to tweak the shrink wrap to make sure the cable can clear the top edge of the battery compartment.Since 810 aftermarket batteries are 1000mah they can’t support the run time of the 1100mah OEM item. This being 1200mah is sufficient, first test on GPS recording gave me 10hrs30mins with 25% remaining charge.Not given 5 star as I’ve not tested reliability yet or run with power meter enabled. However early signs are promising.

Very sadly, the battery did not retain its charge for more than a few minutes.. Tried this a few times. Very slow at full charging -- and then discharging itself without the slightest use!! Most disappointed. I'd pinned so much hope on CELLONIC. Reurned to Amazon. Now searching for a replacement battery that actually works.

Fits nicely into the 810.Watched a youtube video to change battery, very easy to do.I recommend sticking duct tape over the power button to keep in place when changing the battery. The rubber over my power button has worn down with years of use, it popped out when I took out the circuit, and now it is no longer sealed. I'm using bit of duct tape to keep in place, and I have a silicone case I'm not too concerned about water damage.I haven't taken it for a test ride yet, however it charges slower than the old one (shows higher capacity), and hasn't been draining when setting up with bluetooth. It is behaving a little differently, the garmin will turn on if I'm charging from the wall, however it charges fine from my laptop and power bank.

I bought this battery for my Garmin 1000 as its battery life had deteriorated to just over three hours. When the Garmin was new (with Bluetooth/Wifi/auto brightness turned off) I would get close to 13 hours out of the battery. With everything turned on it was about 6 hours. This new battery (it has been through 10 or so charge cycles now) lasts about 5 hours at the very most. In no way does it even approach the capability of the original Garmin battery. A complete waste of money in my view and I cannot recommend. Worse is that if you plug it in as supplied the connector does not take into account the shared plug for the speaker so you will lose sound unless you want to cut and solder wires which is what I did.

Wiring is incorrect and plug is poorly manufactured so when I tried to fit it, the plug stretched the receiver to the point of breaking it. Have submitted a claim for the device from Amazon

Es gibt zwei verschiedene Stecker, 3-fach oder 5-fach, das sieht man erst nach dem Öffnen. Am besten vor der Bestellung des Akkus das Navigationsgerät öffnen.
